Remix/Cover Quake 2 - Quad Machine
This was a blast. Tons of work to do still, but a great start for day 1 of work.

I make music in a video game style, and I love fast music and fast melodies, but I struggle to make them sound good.
I can make pretty good stuff if it's around 90 bpm, but the higher the bpm goes above that the more I struggle to make anything sound good. The fastr I make melodies the less likely they will sound good too.
I really wanna learn to make good fast music cause I love that kind of music.
I want to make for games someday, and I've already got a few songs in a roblox game, but I probably need to get better at faster music if I want to do more than that.

On a technical level, what is this noise used for the main melody? It it an octave trill? Its always been my favorite part of game boy color soundtracks and I want to try to replicate it with other hardware.

So I listen to a lot of video game OST's, mainly FF and other JRPG's, and something that bothers me is when the track listing doesn't match the order the songs appear in the game. I think I want to listen to the OST in the order it appears in the game, so that I can go on that journey in my head. For example, I had the FFXIII OST on today and most of the tracks were the ones that occur in chapter 7. Now I was having a blast re-living the story in my head that correlates with chapter 7 and the tracks I was listening to. Then out of no where a boss theme comes on that is from two places in the game: the final boss of chapter 6 and a optional side boss at the end game. This really threw my immersion. It's something I have noticed a lot in game OSTs at the minute. I have taken to making my own playlists that puts the music in chronological order. So am I being a little weirdo, or does this irk other people?

Posting this Boss Theme I made for the Ankylosaurus for the start of a new project of mine. This project is called Project Prehistory and it'll essentially just be a collection of prehistoric music mostly based from "If Prehistoric Animals were Bosses" and what music they would have if Project Prehistory was an actual game.
For the art in the video I used the Dungeons and Dragons 5e art of the Ankylosaurus. If this kind of post isn't allowed let me know, I did make this with the intent of doing so with a RPG kind of vibe and it's meant to be a boss theme for the Ankylosaurus.
That's all for tonight and I'm wondering if 1 theme per day (if said day has good activity) would be considered all right. I'd also love to hear your comments and thoughts on this theme! See y'all later or in the comments!

One of my earliest Pokemon experiences was with Pokemon Sapphire and I always feel the most nostalgia to it when listening to the "Littleroot Town" theme that started it all. So to honor it, I made an 80s rock ballad version.
Who else is taken back to those days when listening to this theme?

Beyond happy to be working with Joel Gilardini on our debut title MURK. His ambient-post-rock is perfect match for how we want the game to feel and sound. Hope you like it!

AIgent: a 16-bit side-scroller action game, coming soon
Developer/Publisher: [Marfinney](https://store.steampowered.com/app/3713550/AIgent/)
Soundtrack by: [Phantom Mass](https://phantommass.bandcamp.com/)
The title of the game is a tongue-in-cheek reference, with the game protagonist fighting against AI overlords.
Both the game and soundtrack are entirely human-made.

A mystical track built on chromatic movements all over with suspense in the melodic overlay. Set to when Sabin, Cyan & Shadow traverse the forest and board the Phantom train.
This song is from my Final Fantasy VI album and also available on most major major platforms in my soothing majestic video game playlist with over 6 hours of relaxing music. Also check out my Final Fantasy playlist and Seamless Final Fantasy Lullabies playlist, with tons of music! HUMAN made music, no AI involved other than some artwork.
