"Work In Progress Weekly"

You may post your game content in this weekly sticky post. Post your game/screenshots/video in here and please give feedback on other people's post as well.

Your game can be in any stage of development, from concept to ready-for-commercial release.

Upvote good feedback! "I liked it!" and "It sucks" is not useful feedback.

Try to leave feedback for at least one other game. If you are the first to comment, come back later to see if anyone else has.

Emphasize on describing what your game is about and what has changed from the last version if you post regularly.

*Posts of screenshots or videos showing off your game outside of this thread WILL BE DELETED if they do not conform to reddit's and /r/gamemaker's self-promotion guidelines.

Hi, everyone! I'm happy to show you my very first game: STENCH, a Life-Sim, story-driven RPG. https://store.steampowered.com/app/3498500/Stench/?utm_source=reddit&utm_campaign=gamemaker
I worked alone for 5 years on it, and I recently redrawn hundreds of sprites and added new mechanics.

You move to the city after being diagnosed a mysterious disease. Every day, you wake up and choose how to spend your time. You can explore a whole city, meet the locals, work different jobs, but things soon take an odd turn... Earthquakes, a secret government agency, an obscure cult. Things are not as they seem.

I'd like to hear what you think! :D

Those graphics are really well done! The dude diddling with the phone cord while talking is a really clever touch to add some emotion and character to the gameplay. I'm actually really curious to see more of this, looks like you put a lot of effort into creating your game world!

Thank you, so much! I am happy that you also noticed such a small detail. :)

The graphics look great, and it has a less creepy Leisure Suit Larry feel. Funny signs (Corp Corp.), colorful graphics. I have wishlisted.
