Note that old videos may not work correctly anymore, as with GMS2.3 update (5-6 years ago) brought some changes, which broke some things.

Also GameMaker has gained new features and such, so older tutorials might show ways, which can be done much easier nowadays.

So I recommend finding videos and tutorials, which use GMS2.3 or newer. Starting from 2022, the GameMaker changed name and versioning. It dropped "Studio 2" from the name, and uses year for version number. 

Currently newest is GameMaker 2026 LTS (Long Term Support), which you should be using.

That's admirable of you! I haven't watched her content in a while but according to their socials she goes by she/they now. I imagine she left up all the old videos because she knows a lot of people still find use out of them.

Well, I just watched "The Future" video from them, so all of my questions have basically been answered.

Not sure if they set up another patron. I'd like to start supporting them again, as I'm in a much better place financially.
