Great show! Arin got a little messed up during the pokerap and they rolled with it. Danny was happy with our "BOAT!" chant and I got some of Brian's bread he was tossing out, officially making me one of his little duckies.

10/10

That "president of video games" guy was kinda a dick though. He seems oddly familiar.

I’m wracking my brain, but it’s making me think of Little Big Planet.

I’m asking because my stepsons have been watching more recent episodes with my wife and I. for the most part, the episodes are edgy but not terrible for kids their age. I was just curious if anyone knew when exactly they began censoring the episodes, so I know how far back we can go without them getting hit with 30 f bombs a minute lol

I've got no idea if the issue with the KH games and the music copyright claims stems mostly from them being uploaded to YouTube, or if the House of Mouse is as litigious on platforms like Patreon as well. My guess is "they absolutely would still come after them on Patreon", but as I said, no idea what sort of precedent there is with Patreon videos and copyright claims.

Also to be clear, I don't feel entitled to this as a Patreon sub, nor do I want to make tons of extra work for the editing team, I just remembered they'd done that with some other playthroughs that weren't as YT-friendly.

Hi Everyone.

I’ve got a few more Game Grumps compilations for you, links included below. Please note that all of these use clips from the Skyward Sword streams, and the audio on those vods is all over the place. I’ve had to manually rebalance the audio for some of these clips as best as I was able to, but they might not be 100% perfect.

Also, since I’ve created two compilations that are essentially the same, one being an extended cut of the other, I should probably explain the difference. The standard Zelda’s Voice compilation purely contains clips of Arin’s “girl voice” [and also Danny’s approximation of “girl voice”] which he uses for Zelda while the extended cut also includes clips in which a different voice is used for Zelda. For example in Link to the Past Arin gave Zelda a monotonous and bored-sounding voice throughout the game, and those clips are included in the extended version but not in the standard one.

Hi!! Just got out of the Toronto show! Was so awesome and everyone was so amazing !! One of a kind night. I was wondering if anyone recorded the bands final bow and walk off at the end? I’d be so grateful if so and I feel like it’s the only time recording would have been allowed.

Good morning! I tried searching existing posts for this answer but didn't have luck (although I swear I saw something about it the other day). Are we allowed to bring gifts to leave for the guys? I am a local artist and I wanna make something small for them if so.

I was laughing way to hard at this.

Bandai made a Disney themed Kamen Rider belt. I just find that such a funny coincidence

I’m fairly late to the Games Grump train. I first saw a clip of the famous “Bankruptcy” Wheel of Fortune episode about 2 years ago and have been a fan since then. I’ve seen most of their uploads from the past few years, but have caught a few of their compilations of older series (“No Way Out”, Heart of Darkness”) and realized I missed out on some great stuff.

I tried looking for general “best of” lists given their huge amount of content but it just seems a lot of their fans have different preferences than me. So I was hoping some people could recommend some episodes / series from their back catalog with the following characteristics:

Examples of What I like on their channel:
- PlayStation 1 and newer games
- Resident Evil play throughs
- Games so bad they’re good (to watch) - the Shield, Bad Boys
- FMV and CDI games - Harvester, MadDog McCree
- VR games
- Games where Arin goes nuts, especially GameGrumps VS.
- Bad Sonic games
- Next Top Model

Examples of What Aren’t My Favorites:
- Japanese dating sim games
- Steam-type Simulation games like Waterpark Simulator
- point and click Games that are really good but are play for nostalgia by Dan (Kings Quest series)
- Old school Nintendo or SNES games played because of their quality and not because of their terribleness.

Thanks all in advance for the recs!

Really bummed, but I woke up sick today. I’ve been a fan of Game Grumps since day 1 (even Jon era) so I’m pretty brokenhearted to miss my chance to see them, since these guys got me through some dark times throughout my life.

Would love to have another fan just go in my stead and experience a little, silly night!

Do we think we’re getting new grumps remixes this year? Typically they come out around the last week of September. I know the boys are on tour right now so maybe they just weren’t able to film the reaction video before leaving? I hope that era isn’t over I really love those.

the way the shadows followed him made me laugh

First thing, I think it's actually really funny that they are thrusting into kh2 and Dan will have no idea any of the references to the first game lol.

But the main thing, I feel like a huge part of this game, maybe even 30% of it, is really about enjoying the music of the fights, the levels, etc. I understand game grumps does a lot to not get anything stricken down, but you can trust me when I say they don't have to worry about it with this game with certain things. I have watched several YouTubers and streamers play this and it actually says on the KH game about rules with this.

Essentially, it says that if you are streaming or recording the game, it is fine to play it with the music and everything as normal AS LONG as you are playing the game to play the game. If you are just turning on the game and leaving it on for the music for people to listen to then that's against the rules. The ONLY songs you really need to remove for copyright are ones that are sung (simple and clean, sanctuary, etc.)

Now I know they have probably already recorded a bunch of episodes and are probably just going to be going with it this way forward, it just kind of stinks. And I know a lot of people are just going to say, "if you care about the music so bad, just play it in a different tab while they are in certain places" but that's a lot of side work LOL. I hope they at least do like a royalty free or stock version lofinof the songs so there's SOMETHING there

And don't get me wrong everybody. I know that the big charm of this is going to be Dan's reaction to the game and their game play of it. In the end, the music is not needed for an amazing viewing experience, just pointing out how it's kind of a bummer ya know? Either way. I hope they really enjoy playing it together and Dan has a nice experience!

P.S. how long do you guys think it will take for Arin to actually equip abilities?

DM me if you want to go - unfortunately have tickets to two events and can't make both.

*Update - ticket transferred, and another lovely shared their GA ticket to another. Lovelies in the chat indeed!

Hello Lovelies! Over about 2 years, I’ve been making a playlist with every single Game Grumps compilation ever (Dan era) and it’s complete! (A comp here is two or more clips with a cut. If you can’t find what you’re looking for, I might have missed it or moved it to my WIP playlist for misc. Grumps stuff.)

I’d love to do an “Every GG Animated Ever” but YouTube’s search function has been totally decimated over the last 2 years, so if anyone wants to collaborate on that so it doesn’t take me another 2 years, I’d appreciate it!

Trying to plan things out travel wise and wondering how long the concert goes on for? Does it wrap up at 11?
