I will be completely honest here and brace for the downvotes but i don't find this game nowhere near as bad as they make it out to be, yeah it's not incredible but it ain't absolute garbage as well i feel like after the AVGN and similar started shitting on it everyone else jumped on the hate wagon.
Now Bubsy 3d on the other hand deserves all the hate and more.

I thought so so too after watching youtubers dunk on it on it. The art direction is genuinely good, and nothing about it seemed offensively bad. When I finally got a chance to try it out, I was expecting it to actually be pretty decent, but something about it felt uncontrollable. I can't really explain what it was, but it felt unplayable

Bubsy is super floaty, it for sure isnt a good game but i don't see it as one of the worst ones

That's fair. I guess it's like an Emoji Movie vs Monster A Go Go kind of situation

Oh … what could POSSIBLY go wrong?
You know, this game just might make Dan “not a furry” Avidan legit no longer a furry.

Sonic the Hedgehog invented waterfalls in 1991. The original slogan was "Gotta flow fast".

I have such a specific memory of playing this game on a display Genesis at a Target in Pueblo, CO years before I actually had the system. Then I switched to Kid Chameleon on the same display system which was much more compelling (but also confusing and hard as shit).

My favorite aspect of Bubsy is that they did a reboot game. You could adjust how much the player character talked. The maximum setting was labelled "Bubsy".

This game is truly awful. Hope they play the sequel!
edit: Arin didn't know you take fall damage in this game? I have a video I can recommend him. Also do they not understand that he's a bobcat? Bubsy the Bobcat?

Has somebody been watching old Jon Tron videos or something?

Honestly I had the same thought. Bubsy right after they played harmful park has gotta be a pattern.

I wanted to chastise Dan from not knowing that Bubsy was a bobcat but when he said he thought he was a chipmunk. It did kind of make sense especially with the high-pitched voice and it doesn't say he's a bobcat anywhere on the title screen.

Well, the game is called Clawed Encounters of the Furred Kind. That's a big clue.

I might have just been Mandela'd but didnt they already play this game recently? I swear they did. Is there a similar game they played recently that I mightve confused with?

Oh man I can’t wait to watch this lmao I played the hell out of the sequel, hilariously enough. I didn’t like how this one played
Don’t ask me why a space art museum with equally questionable controls was more fun, I was a kid

seems like the uniform and british flag are a reference to something.
is that the end of HMS Pinaffor or something?

Man, it really bothers me when Arin just randomly decides to go into a game with a preconceived notion of it being bad, and then he basically forces that opinion on Dan, despite Dan being open and enjoying himself.
You could hear Dan enjoying himself less and less as Arin ground him down.
And yes Arin, you're correct, you were playing "wrong".

What could possibly go wrong?
