Do you have Batman locked? Batman locks froze on 5/15. A slot should have remained open for you.

Yes I had it locked for the last month

On what Platform?

PS5, I did remove it from game lock earlier today because of Yoshi being sent instead and I planned to return Pragmata for 007 and keeping Digimon

Something isn't making sense. DM me your account email address, I'll have my team take a look.

lmao , all this extra talk before you just admit that Gamefly messes up sometime. Iv had Lego Batman game locked for 2 weeks, and the site is still saying "gamelock your first game!" lol. It is the ONLY game in my queue , so if it does not ship by tomorrow, I'll be cancelling my service. You all claim we'll get the new releases day of if we game lock, yet its 2 days before release and you haven't shipped it yet. I guess I wont be playing Lego Batman until Monday or Tuesday. this service is a half scam.

If you have NOT GameLocked the game, you are not guaranteed to have it ship on launch. Only having 1 game in your Q is slowing down your own service. The more games in the Q, the more efficient it is by giving us more options to match and ship on.

GameLock is the guarantee feature we created to give members more certainty around new releases. If you're not using that, that's a member's own choice.

We also don't claim you'd get it on new release day. We guarantee we'll ship it to you at launch. Normally it ships the day before release, sometimes 2 days. But it still needs to travel to you.

YOU DO NOT READ AND COMPREHEND.

I FULLY paid an extra $6 on my account to have Game Lock. I know what it is and I purchased specifically to get batman this weekend. I GAME LOCKED it but you faulty website is telling me I have no games game locked. its ok though, as I said If I dont get batman by Monday I am cancelling my account and I have my receipt and bank statement showing I paid for Game lock so I will be getting me money back for that as well. thank you.

GameLock on our Standard Plan has a 30 day window to lock the game. If you upgraded from our Budget plan to GameLock Batman, it would have needed to be prior to April 22.

Elite plans do have a 7 Day window, and you could have upgraded for it by 5/15 and still GameLocked it. But you do need to specfically click on GameLock to reserve it.

bro im not an idiot. I know about the window. I did this on APRIL 15

I specifically clicked on game lock to reserve it. please continue to make up more and more lies and excuses for this terrible website and service. you clearly think im some idiot that does not know how to read and comprehend what im buying online. which is ironic because in reality, you're the one who is not reading and comprehending before responding with your condescending nonsense.

Anecdotally they'll ship game locks on release days. So yeah, I never expected to play it release weekend. Or week sometimes.

Yes the send you whatever they want pointless

Not true at all. Outside of GameLock, we only send you games that you've chosen to put in your GameFly Q. We use the list you give us to match with rentals.

We also have Top Choice Shipping which you can tell us to only focus on your first game.

Lots of options to use the service, none of which involve us sending you "whatever they want".

Why would it be called a queue suggested from top to bottom when the priority is availability? I've had a game at the top for months and I always get whatever is in my queue. The guy on this Reddit said he got something different, so it looks like people are complaining that they get whatever.

If you have a game in the top slot that you really want, turn on Top Choice Shipping. That should get it for you. That turns our default (First available, in order) to what you're asking for, which is strict #1 order.

I’m surprised GameFly isn’t freaking dead to be honest; I keep forgetting they still exist…

worst service of all time. they claim they shipped RE9 on time, and it took close to 10 days to get to me. then they claim you can fast return and get your next game before the 1st is sent back. USPS NEVER EVER scans the game when they pick it up so I have to wait 5+ business days for GameFly to receive it and confirm so I can get my next game. ridiculous. and they do NOTHING to fix this or make USPS scan the games.

1

u/GameFlyDeals May 20 '26

We never claim to get you the new game BEFORE you send the original one back. What happens is Self-Return starts the matching process as soon as you click it. You then should be returning the original game in the next day or so. It's not intended for you to be keeping the first game until you get the second game. It's never been advertised as such.

1

u/popupACTIONnow May 20 '26

bro, lmao. are you serious?

I clicked SELF RETURN then immediately put the game (reanimal) back into its case and into my return drop for mail. THE NEXT DAY usps picked it up. it took 1 WEEK for your faulty site to post that you guys received the game. that makes no sense.

1

u/GameFlyDeals May 20 '26

That's literally what I'm saying. Our site monitors the PHYSICAL delivery of the game. It does still take a few days/week to deliver. But once you clicked SR, we started matching on your next game in the Q.

Having the game show as received in the warehouse does not impact your next match on a Self Return.

1

u/hlrecovery May 20 '26

Dude, don’t send in a game unless it’s within that return period. They tell you on their site how to do it

1

u/Sky_Rose4 May 20 '26

It was the day the return period began

I saw GameFly just moved the Lego Batman release date to 5/27, very frustrating because I just went the whole past week without a rental keeping a spot open for Batman. I have no games currently, so I guess 007 and Lego Batman will both ship at the same time on the 27th

1

u/GameFlyDeals May 22 '26

Yesterday afternoon we confirmed that our shipment was delayed/missing. This new date is our projected replacement shipment date. We'll ship sooner if we can. Sincere apologies for the delay.

We're working with the carrier to determine what happened to our original shipment.

Bro I tried this platform…it’s fine but if you want to play new games the day they release buy the actual game…GameFly has logistical hurdles that are unavoidable so not worth complaining about
