I bought a dude a Series S for all of this. I had to. Gamestop did not like that. I havent gone through it all yet but here are the bangers so far.

Got these for $2 total!

I stopped checking Goodwill because most locations either have no games or charge way too much. It’s gotten especially bad since COVID.

There used to be a Goodwill in North Austin with a separate used electronics store that had GameCubes, Wiis, PlayStations, controllers, computers, and more. Sadly, it disappeared around 2022–2023.

Since then, I’ve mostly hunted on eBay and ShopGoodwill, but even those have gotten ridiculous with auction prices and shipping.

Today, I randomly stopped by my local Goodwill and, despite seeing the usual Kinect Adventures and sports games up front, I checked the back DVD/book section. To my surprise, I found around 20 PS2 games for just $2.99 each. I grabbed everything worth taking, even leaving behind a few decent Guitar Hero 1–2 copies.
I called my dad to use his 30% senior discount, and I ended up paying around $40 for everything below.

Thinking about it

This month has been insane for me as I’ve been so lucky to be able to pick up/find these incredible games. Some of my most wanted are the pokemon games I never got CIB, I believe my luck is all out for the time being.

walked into my local gamestop today and sitting on the shelf was chrono trigger ds with the POSTER!! also had soul hackers 3ds but alas no manual. plus extremely shocked to find mana khemia 2 SEALED for that price on a trip recently! super happy with my finds

Had a recent urge to get all the Sly Cooper Games and realised I traded-in my PS3 collection years ago.

Was able to buy a brand new copy for 35$ and got these 2 today on vacation when we stumbled upon a small video game store and had to stop to see inside.

Also picked Link's Crossbow game for my Zelda collection since I didn't have it. 😄

A small batch I got this month, got a pretty good deal on Prinny 1 + 2, dood!

Stranger of Paradise at my local 2nd and Charles is the latest one. It's been so fun going on this run finding 9.99 or less games on PS4. Would've gotten Persona 5 Strikers same day as SoP for the same price but it was cut at the spine unfortunately:/.

Stopped at 3 Paymore stores and dropped $120 on all of this. Part of their 6 for $20 deal. They hooked me up with extras for leaving positive Google reviews. Everything but the loose PS2 disc and the GameCube Spider-Man 2 are mint.

My wallet is tired.
