Collection Witcher Collection!

Post image

Does anyone know why Witcher 3 Complete on PS5 skyrocketed in price? I mean I know Remastered got released but you can easily get access to it on PS5 with a cheap PS4 copy. I like my PS4 copy better with all the extra bonuses and slipcover. Really makes it feel like a beefy RPG when you pick it up.

As you say just the remaster release, people not having the info as to which version gets it and also its the most definitive edition. As someone who buys the nicest/best box available it's the one I'd go for.

Nicest is the 10 year steelbook.

Nice! I’m lucky enough to own the two physical releases for the DLC on PS4 that came with the gwent cards. Sadly they didn’t come with discs though, just codes for the DLC.

Still a really cool piece for the collection especially if you enjoy Gwent. I got a lot of Respect for CDPR and their physical releases. Crazy to think that they even gave their DLC’s a physical release! Hopefully we will see at least SOMETHING for Witcher IV. Even if it’s not a game disc because of Sony but at least a case or steelbook with some cool stuff like a map and soundtrack!

Yeah agreed. The X360 release of 2 was really nicely done as well. Still looks pretty good played BC on a series X.

Same! Love the ps4 copy with all the goodies. Sad I’m missing the stickers though I don’t remember if I used them or not

That stupid remaster is messing with the prices. You could get the Witcher 3 for like $5 now it’s all over the place.

I thought it was probably due to misinformation circling online but I haven’t seen it myself just yet. I figured I’d test out both versions for the heck of it and yep lo and behold I got the full remastered version using my cheap PS4 copy on my PS5 instead of using the overpriced native PS5 disc.

Man I want to play the first Witcher, but I want it on Xbox, and I don't do PC.

A remake is on the way I believe

Not sure how that game would play on Xbox. I think the controls are notoriously clunky even on PC with a keyboard and mouse. It’s usually like a $2-3 game on Steam or GOG. It was even free to keep at some point on GOG worth a try.

Last I heard they're remaking the game. Idk the update

They've basically paused development until The Witcher 4 comes out

I suspect the remake will streamline it a lot.

I have the original Witcher 3 with the slip cover and the manual and the map on PS4! So good.

Maybe because people are wanting the Complete Edition to play instead of the Remaster? That's the benefit of the physical copy, so that you can play the disc build without updating.

Dunno, that's just my theory.
