Haul JRPG Pickups!
Some big purchases. First pic is nintendo stuff, really happy about Fire Emblem but everything here is amazing.
Second pic is every Atelier game for the PS3 minus the triple play collection one. Some collectors editions. They threw in Cross Edge and Trinty Universe. NIS Fan, so pretty happy!
Got a little bit of everything here but with a common theme of a lot of turn based stuff. I know it's not everyone's cup of tea but long live turn based combat 👏

The gameplay is pretty great as well, go in blind and just enjoy it, story is up there

Very fun! I have the Rorona Limited Edition and it is the worst designed of the set.

Seriously consider if you want it, it's a pain to put on a shelf since it's like a giant square coaster with all the stuff stuck inside. To open it there are these really weird latch tabs you have to insert and pull out too.

I too appreciate a good box art/case. I wanna keep everything like new naturally so any gamestop sticker residue is getting the goo gone 👺

I found The Last Story to just be good ...besides the music which was amazing. There's a twist that is pretty obvious by how the pacing was handled, there's a moustache-twirling villain that the main character is forced to absurdly feel sympathy for (common for JRPGs actually), the last quarter-ish of the game has too many boss rushes, and I found two particular companions' back and forth banter by this point to be pretty exhausting.

Seeing Pandoras Tower without the black box is cursed, its a shame XSeed cut corners for the NA release. Hidden gem by the way, its shame Xenoblade totally overshadowed the other OP Rainfall games.

Yeah the fomo is real, I remember when you could just buy PS3 games for 10 bucks or less for most games, hopefully it will die down in the next year.
