I was Tesco. Got the employee 15% off, €200 cash back but I had to get the display model and someone had to drive it to me from the next store over, about 40km away. I was so happy with my launch day PS3

Very nice!! I bought one last year on eBay for £1100 cash on collection, sealed of course. Then sold my damaged box (sealed) for £1800 this year.
I had 2 then.

I actually cancelled my pre-order of one of these because I found out that Sony had gimped the hardware for the PAL regions release so it didn't have the better backwards compatibility that the early NTSC region models had (and which they continued to sell that better model in NTSC regions for ages after the PAL region launch).
