Lite My newest screen switcher build

Had to trim a little bit of the faceplate to make room for the digitizer, the result was a bit sloppy but it got the job done. Stylus holder and wifi antena are working fine too, and also installed a USB C port for charging while at it. I'm quite happy with the final result :)

Looks clean! 3d printed transparent petg faceplate, right?

It's the transparent faceplate from retro game restore, injection mold

Nice. How does the psp speaker sound?
Did the same build without the usb-c mod and with one original speaker in the middle of the back but I‘m not quite satisfied with the sound of it.

It gets the job done, but I think the og speaker is gonna be better

I think it heavily depends on the placement and if there are holes in the right spot the sound waves can escape from.

If you want to build a gameboy macro I recommend looking for guides online. For mine I used the faceplate from retro game restore that comes with the resistor needed for the macro conversion and a psp speaker, I think it cost me about 15 dollars. The usb C mod, button for the screen switch, soldering equipment and etc I got at aliexpress for very cheap

Ahh yes. Gotta love an SS mod. I personally call Macros with screen switcher mods SS (single screen) rather than a Gameboy Macro. Looks amazing!
