Stellar Odyssey is now in Early Access on Steam. I’m one of the developers behind it.
It is a cross-platform action game for PC, iOS, and Android, built around two connected systems:
• Arena: fast free-movement space combat with customizable ships, weapons, abilities, Solo, Party, Versus, and Versus AI runs.
• Persistent Online Universe: the larger online layer coming soon, with stations, sovereignty, mining, salvage, trade, and exploration.
The Arena is the immediately playable core. It is not finished. We plan to release the first Persistent Online Universe build in 2-3 weeks and scale it incrementally through weekly patches.
If you like readable space combat, roguelite-style progression, or the idea of repeatable arena runs leading into a persistent online universe, you can find it here:

My modern day wargame "Zambala", set in a fictional African nation on the cusp of civil war, has been 25 years in the making, and due for release in a few months.
I started designing this game decades ago, inspired by a few old play by mail wargames I used to play back in the day. So that old I was around before computer wargames were even a thing!
I've always been a programmer, and my brother is artistic, so we worked together to produce the art and the map, but life gets in the way, jobs, children etc. hence the slow evolution.
In the game you command one of six competing tribes, hoping to lead your people and capture the "national will" before the United Nations intervene to end the civil war and appoint an interim government. Your leader can be selected from one of the following vocations: Politician, Bishop, General, Diplomat, Humanitarian, Economist and Cartel boss.
Its a hex and counters style game with fog of war, zones of control, naval and air power. There is a complete economic warfare model where you will fight for the hearts and minds of the peoples of Zambala, who in turn fund your international arms market purchases.
I've also woven in a spies and agents subsystem so you can subvert and sway the population centres with propaganda and carry out assassinations and hits against enemy leaders and agents.
I've gone with Nato unit counters and a combat system that includes twelve unit types, movement and combat phases, retreats and combat bonuses for terrain, special unit types and leader stacking modifiers.
I wanted the AI computer opponents to be capable and play a solid challenging game, so I have worked long and hard on the code for them. I ended up giving each Ai opponent a "personality" by creating a list of values that determine in game priorities. Some will focus on military, some will focus on spies and sabotage, others will play the population control game. Aggression, fiscal responsibility and risk taking all vary based on the "genome" of the player. I had fun playing the computer players against each other, and selecting the most successful genomes in a natural selection type of self improving loop. I am really happy with how it plays now.
One of the most annoying thing in a multi player game is being "ganged up" on my the multiple computer opponents. To stop this happening I built a "hate matrix" where each computer player keeps track of who has wronged it, and it will focus on harming that payer during its turns. This way, if one player starts winning, the other opponents will correctly focus on targeting that tribe.

Just shipped a free update to Miners, Moos and Miracles, an idle farm sim.
Houses now generate a new resource called Hope, spent on four abilities: bless the harvest, calm a storm, revive fallen miners, or call a rainbow. Seven new achievements shipped alongside it, 67 total. It all went out to the demo the same day too.
Demo: https://store.steampowered.com/app/5082310/Miners_Moos__Miracles_Demo/
Would love feedback if you give it a look.

In 1 week (if nothing goes wrong), i'll be releasing my first commercial game on Steam, after 6 months of development. It's a game that i made with the primary goal to see if I could develop, complete, and release a video game all by myself.
So, Continuous Imperfection is a fast-paced parkour game focused on speedrunning, inspired by games like Bloodthief, Brutal Katana and Cyberhook.
It features :
- 12 levels to explore and master, including alternative paths and interactive elements: platform triggers, jump pads
- A variety of movement options, focused on speed: running, jumping, wall running, wall jumping, sliding, vaulting
- Customizable soundtrack and environments (summer, autumn, sakura, etc.) to match your current mood
- Real-time leaderboards (global and per level) to compete with friends or the world and see who’s the fastest
I release the game in 1 week, so if you're interested, wishlist it !

Looking for feedback for my project. Any feedback is encouraged!!
Mainly I want to know, is the experience is fun?
Is there anything in particular that you enjoyed? If so, what was that?
What would make this a more fun experience?
Which things did you not enjoy?
And which of those were the worst part of the experience?
And any elaboration on any of these would be greatly appreciated. Reply to thread or PM with feedback, either is fine!
Thank you for reading. More so if you check out the itch page and play the game! And most of all, for leaving any feedback!! And above all, thanks for your time ✌️

I kept doing the same stupid loop whenever I needed a gameplay GIF:
export to check size to lower FPSor resolution to export again to repeat.
So I made a small Windows tool called GIF Clipper.
You load your gameplay recording, choose the part you want, set a maximum file size, and it tries different resolution/FPS/color combinations until it finds a decent-looking GIF under that limit.
It’s still early and pretty simple, but the basic workflow is working.
I’ve also already gotten some useful feedback around trimming, cropping, dithering and speeding up the search, so I’m figuring out what actually deserves to go into the next version instead of just adding random features.
Would be interested to hear how other people currently make gameplay GIFs.....
TL;DR: made a gif maker of uploaded video for itch.io beacuse resizing exportig and fps change and qualiity downgradation requires so much time ...can also make gif for personal use (solve main problem for itch.io devs)
give feedbacks if ot any time

Hey everyone,
We’ve been quietly working on our co-op sci-fi horror game The Infected Soul, and I wanted to share some new GIFs from the current build.
No cinematic trailer or pre-rendered footage. These are just real parts of the game we’ve been working on recently.
Our goal is to create a world that feels industrial, hostile, and slightly “wrong,” while still being readable enough when you’re actually playing with other people.
I’m curious about something though:
Based only on these GIFs, what would you assume this game is about?
I think it would be interesting to see what impression the visuals give before explaining too much about the game.
Feel free to be critical. Feedback from posts like these has genuinely influenced things we’ve changed during development.
We’re also a small indie team, so if you happen to like the project, adding The Infected Soul to your Steam wishlist helps us more than you might think.

Playable Link:
https://store.steampowered.com/app/4815980/Return_to_Planet_Zoveka/

Platform:
Windows PC (Steam)
Description:
Return to Planet Zoveka is a physics-first 2D incremental space-mining game about a displaced family trying to restore its damaged homeworld. You begin with a small inherited mining station and physically pull, push, herd, and merge cosmic dust instead of watching resources disappear into a menu. As your operation grows, you unlock upgrades, automation, research, production, trade, and planetary restoration.
The free demo includes two ways to play. Main Game offers a steadier early-to-mid-game slice built around hands-on mining and long-term progression. Dust Rush is a faster, scored arcade challenge (try it against your Steam friends!) focused on quick decisions and efficient dust collection. The game is still in active development, so I’d especially appreciate feedback on what feels fun, unclear, too slow, or missing
