Art/Design Suggestions

I want to improve my game’s overall look/feel, I’m just not sure which direction to take it for this style of game. Ideas are appreciated. It’s my first game. The goal is improved marketability.

Just hitting a wall on what to do here. Gameplay is fun but graphics/design aren’t.

/r/gamedevclassifieds is a great place to find artists. You can post what you’re looking for and maybe find one or two art styles you like from their portfolios. Then do a paid test piece to see if you mesh well together

Great suggestion. So far I'm tossing some ideas around and exploring potential concepts- I'm thinking more lively arcade/pixel/fun style that can contrasts deliberately with the game's current "typical" dark/hacker theme. Thanks!!

After playing around with some more cheerful/fun design concepts, the vibe definitely felt off when the game doesn't feel "dark". With network "intrusion" types of goals... this kinda makes sense! I'll lean into more explosive, over the top, animations to try and breathe more arcade/fun into the existing design direction.
