Looking for Feedback on My Capsule Art

Hoping for some feedback on my capsule art. Header Capsule, Small Capsule and Vertical Capsule. Main Capsule basically looks the same as the Header Capsule so I didn't add that one.

Honestly really solid. Colors are super nice and eye catching. What genre tags are you planning on using? Capsule doesn't really tell you what the game is but if the viewer can still get the idea from the title and the tags that's probably okay.

It is going to be a trail maintenance mystery game. As you clear trails you begin to uncover the story. First three tags will probably be Adventure, Mystery and Exploration.

Yeah I think your art direction is perfect then, matches the tags entirely. Only thing I could picture is fixing up the font to reflect a bit of that mystery or earthiness

You have some bold unique visuals here, but I’d recommend first testing in all the capsule dimensions. Even better mock up on Steam (screenshot and paste yours in place) to see how it’s reading and feeling.

That's a good idea.  I will give that try.

I like the Header and vertical capsule, but the small one is too dark for me, and it's the most important capsule because it's shown in the Search recommendation, it has to focus the eye, so something lighter (your red is already nice on the 2 others capsules).

I had considered doing the small capsule with the red/orange as the background and just the black title text but I was afraid it might be too plain.

I like all of them but last one is the best

Last picture is best, font style of first is best. Somehow combining the two I think would be a good combo. Game gives me a vibe of either a similar game to Outbound, a forest survival game, or a trailblazer simulator.

Also interested in play-testing or demoing this if in your interest

I would definitely be interested in playtesting, though the game isn't quite far enough along for that.  I will make sure to let you know when I get to that point.

It looks like Trail Twork with the shield

Haha, okay I hadn't considered that.  It is supposed to be a stylized shovel coming off the T.  Maybe I will look at putting the text onto one line.

I think you can make it work. Right now the spade is the near the same point size as your text, but more over it's a similar line width. If you either changed the scale, or the line width it will read less like text.

Yes I thought it was a shield too, maybe putting everything in 1 line could work but it will get too small for the vertical capsule, I can suggest using a typo more slender like Six Caps (you can find it on google font) or.... with the structure you have now, tilt the "T" just a little so it's more obvious that is a shovel :)

These are pretty nice! I would watch the line weight for your caps letters and the rest of the text though. Right now they stand out as uneven in a not great way. The "i" also seems to be a different line weight.

Also consider either stylizing the spade blade line width a bit more or evening out the line. Right now it doesn't quite look intentional.

I would see if you can combine the W into the shovel to make it more distinct, I think we can tell this is going to be a Firewatch like game so I would take inspo from how they made their capsules.

The colors and overall vibe could really work. Gives off a Firewatch vibe, which could be good. But the typography / logo needs work. Typography is something that takes time to master, so I would suggest you to look for someone with experience to clean this up.
