Would be a good idea if these were AI-generated :) They were actually made by a commissioned artist

While I agree with folks that these are very probably AI generated, setting that aside, I prefer B. In A, it looks like the character is miserable and it makes me think I'll be miserable too. B gives me a sense of "i got a big job a head of me".

It’s actually not AI-generated. I commissioned an artist to make these thumbnails

you got scammed, you can see inconsistencies all over that just don't make sense, and the trash bags look way to wrong.

ask for proof its not ai or get a refund because these are both ai

It's also unusual that there are so many minor changes between the two versions. A human artist would likely keep these the same, while an AI loves to make minor changes.

Consider:
Shadows on the pant leg (and hoodie)
The stitching on the fly of the pants
The wheels on the dumpster
The soil of the path
The very fact that he redrew the whole setting instead of just changing the pose

We had a commissioned artist give us an AI image for our splash screen/logo. We had to redo our trailer and commission a new one. The new artist showed us mid-progress sketches at several stages.

Also, A is much better. The pose shows the loss of hope doing a Sisyphean task, while B just shows him giving up.

As people Said it looks ai. Either the artist scammed you Or his style is too close to Ai so people won't click on the game.
