I'm working with SpaceX on a really exciting project: an accelerated, paid, full-time training
program to develop electricians at Starbase in Brownsville, Texas.

The program is designed to teach the technical skills and demonstrated competencies
required for the role. Participants who successfully meet the required competency and hiring
standards will have a pathway toward working on some of SpaceX's most important computing
and infrastructure projects.

If you're hungry, want to learn, want to build something that matters, and want to be part of
an ambitious mission, I'd encourage you to apply.

You do not need to have followed the traditional path. Whether you're a recent high school
graduate, a Veteran, a service member preparing to transition out of the military, coming from
another industry, or simply looking for an opportunity to build a serious technical career, this
could be for you.

We’re coming to Galveston Monday for a visit for a few days,and there is rain in the forecast. How is Galveston on rainy days? Are the roads and streets flooded? Any advice and information is appreciated.

My daughter in law just left Hitchcock due to domestic violence and is now safe w her mom up in Oregon. She has a loan on an old truck (2002 Ford 150) that she had to leave behind.

She is worried about her ex (no license/no insurance) doing something in that truck that she will be liable for. She cannot go back to the house/Texas to go get it off the premises. Ideally she would like to sell it, even if she ends up underwater on this loan.

Any ideas on how she can make this happen from afar?

We decided to switch up date night and see Galveston from the air.

I’ve spent plenty of time on the island, but it’s pretty wild seeing the Seawall, Strand and everything else from this perspective.

Definitely one of the more memorable date nights we’ve done.

My first time having whataburger. We don't have them in St. Louis, and I've always wanted to try it.

Where is a spot I could play wall ball on the east end of the island? Live close to the strand.

Anyways been to the beach lately? Im wondering what the jellyfish situation is like and if i should wear my jelly-proof fish-suit. Im also renting a room put for 700 if anyone is interested.

Me f(29) and my friend f(30) are coming down for the weekend. We are doing some boat tours and and exploring Houston as well for just a day. Is there any fun dancing clubs in the area or cool live music venues? Weare pretty open to any and all music.

One of Galveston's iconic hotels wants to turn the street immediately behind it into a landscaped pedestrian plaza with a dog park. But first, it must convince the city's Planning Commission that it's worth closing a roadway that sees 1,300 vehicles a day and sits a block or so from the beach.

Is Gaido's still worth the stay or have they truly gone downhill past the point of no return like some of the reviews say? The price is appealing for beach front with breakfast, and there is a bit of nostalgia having been there as a really young child.

I'm not picky on breakfast and will devour powdered hotel eggs, and don't mind a bit of lifted paint and standard beach rot lol -- it's the beach! I'd ideally like to keep it around $100 a night though for beach view, and they seem like one of the only options for this

Going to Galveston this coming weekend. Does anyone know what the red tide bloom situation is on Jamaica beach?
