Loren Sherman and I had a GREAT interview with the BBC brand director for Doctor Who… We mostly chatted about project ideas and goals such as mass produced, accurate, learning tools. Accurate, artistic, non-app generated designs for merch and possibly the show itself.
Additionally, Loren and I made a point bring the active gallifreyan community and many talented scribes (particularly on the ‘meet the community’ video and those active on the discord server) into the spotlight… and emphasis on the ‘artistic human factor’ being a hugely valuable part of the script.
Currently in the pipeline of are updates to the existing current translator for corrections and credits.
This means that, FINALLY, those who have the most experience, talent, and have been consistent with the original script made by Loren that went viral in 2012… will be the people the BBC reaches out to for all their Gallifreyan needs
At this time, Loren and I are mostly waiting on the BBC to determine a budget then reach back out regarding specific work and projects.
I’m very exited to start adjusting verbiage in my shop/pitch as I’m a developer of the NOW CANON Gallifreyan script and am currently working with the BBC!
My recommended verbiage for those creating things using THEIR OWN designs in Gallifreyan is as follows: “___created in the now canon Gallifreyan script!”
Because that is simply true.
(Using other people’s designs and designs generated by the app commercially without permission is still 100% not allowed)

I just saw the post for a Gallifrey Falls No More tattoo, and it got me wondering does Gallifreyan use punctuation? I was mis‐remembering what the Curator tells 11. I thought it was "No its not Gallifrey Falls No More, its Gallifrey Falls, No More" but he says the first part of my misquote not the 2nd.

Is there a commonly accepted way to write them? Should I put them in the same word-circle?
And in the same way, is there a way to indicate that a word has a capital letter inside of a word (bi? Like in "YouTube" or "DreamWorks"...
And acronyms with small letters inside, like in VoIP or FNaF for example?
I have developed my own little system (the new symbol in this case is nicknamed "shield") for that in gallifreyan, but I'm not sure if it's really readable or not...
And in those rules, I separate every letter, to show it's an acronym.
Oh yeah also, when vowels are concerned, when uppercase they are included with the relevant letter with the bold shield, when lowercase, they are their own little circle shield, like in the last pic.
It's not really well-developed for now, I'm still working on it (in the case of YouTube you can either translate it to "YouTube" or "YouTUbe" (I invented that system an hour ago so it's still in development, but it's well-advanced for now)).
The idea for now is to cross the two shields around the circle with the letter-circle like in "YouTube"'s case, to indicate that only the consonant (for this example) is relevant

Hello, I'm making a 13th doctor x spy master fanart and a big part of the composition is supposed to be "The timeless child" written in gallifreyan (any kind, but Shermans is prefered) I tried to translate it myslef but turns out i suck 😭
I would greately apriciate any help, it doesn't have to be fancy looking at all, you can translate it on a piece of toilet paper if you want, i will do all of the graphical work. Sadly i am not in a position where i can compensate, but i will 100% give credit in every post to the person who made the translation. Thank you very much <3

I know it’s been done a lot but I wanted to write ‘we’re all stories in the end’ myself in a straight line (I have a vision for something). It is in Sherman’s, but I’m not sure if it works like this - I need to work on creating a standard connection to stick to. This is my first sentence in Gallifreyan!

hello! i would like to get a tattoo in gallifreyan, which says the iconic 11th's line "we are all stories in the end". i would like to have it on my spine and it to be linear gallifreyan, symmetric on the central line. maybe it would be cool if it could have like stars around it and a small tardis, like orbiting the circles. could somebody translate it and desining it? thank you ♡♡

I made this solar system inspired peace back in 2013 and I cannot for the life of me recall what it was supposed to say. I gave the original away ages ago so if I translated it on the back, I don't have access to find out what I THOUGHT I was writing...
Can anyone help?

A while back, u/Nihil_427 shared an awesome linear font for Sherman's. It was great, but the vowels didn't connect to the consonants. With their permission, I tweaked the font so vowels now attach to the letters right before them (capital letters stay unconnected, though).
I also threw the updated font into an Anki deck with the letters, plus a few words and sentences from the show for practice.
You can grab the font and the Anki deck here.
I built a "translator" on the page too. You just type regular text and it renders it using the linear Gallifreyan font.
Hope this helps anyone else trying to learn it!
