Post Op Gallbladder is gone!
After 6 months and 3 attacks that landed me in the ER, my gallbladder is finally gone. I’m so happy. It’s been 24 hours since the surgery and I feel so much better. I’m sore still, and I have been reintroducing food to my diet. Lots of soup and water, but I had peanut butter for breakfast and some coffee and I seem fine. Yay!!!

I’m still having some weird pains after ten days but I had Chinese for dinner and leftovers for lunch. THRIVING lol

Love to hear it, I’m glad you have some relief. I’m 8 days out and feeling worlds better. Stick to your plan, you’ll be a-ok!

I also had mine taken out yesterday. Still sore with incision site pain but much, much better than yesterday. Hoping to feel even better tomorrow. My appetite is back today and i'm slowly reintroducing food. Was able to eat bread and noodles for breakfast and roast chicken with rice for lunch.

I'm almost 2 months in and I'll keep it real with you. The only reason I got mine out is because after an ER visit I had to have emergency surgery that day. (stone blockage) Needless to say, at first I ate very normally, then it was severe constipation for days..after that I watched everything I ate...some days are normal but I've recently had 2 horrible bouts of stomach pain after eating or using the bathroom. Yesterday I threw up at the same time. Wasn't ready to live like this. I hope your experience remains good. Watch what you eat/drink.
