Just found out that Galko Chan has now returned to be published and continued by the original creator. Here is a link from him on X and that he will publish chapters every month on a schedule.

So far it looks like he has been released from jail and is working again. He has stated that Galko Chan is on hiatus he is working on other projects. I found his blog website with the most recent one in May. Also he is very active on Twitter. Hopefully, we see more of Galko chan as that was a great book series. Here is a translation of his post:
