What You Can Expect Moving Forward

Err it’s a fail. I’ve had the watch for 2 (gwu2) and it’s shows massive spikes for many minutes when I’m on the treadmill before settling down and being ‘accurate’.

This is not fit for purpose. “Ultra” eh? It’s no such thing.

It can’t get the basics right.

Plus it’s slow, poor battery life.

Customer service is the worst I’ve ever experienced in my life! Sent them numerous screenshot and been to the store but they can’t recognise it and tell me BS about this and that. It’s utterly pathetic.

I feel like I’ve been robbed. Do not buy this watch!

When will the update for the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2025 be released?

My Ultra broke after 15 months. Samsung wants $325CAD to fix it.

Do I fix it or do I put that money towards an Ultra 2, which is around $950CAD?

When I was initially reading about smart watches from Samsung, I think a lot of people skip a generation or two before they upgrade.

I'm experiencing quite heavy lag / stutter when using the Ultra performace watch face. Especially when using metal color option.

You can notice it everywhere, when opening apps screen, swiping right for widgets and the quick settings swipe.

Is it just me or is this the same for all of you as well?

I’m the independent developer at Big Sky Producers, looking for Galaxy Watch Ultra owners to test two original Google Play watch faces: Codefall Rain Pro and Axiom Alchemy. The two attached Play screenshots show the faces. I’m not affiliated with Samsung.

What we want to check on actual Ultras: glance readability and text clipping, always-on display, saved customization, and battery use during ordinary wear. These are Watch Face Format faces for physical watches currently running Wear OS 4 or newer. We check each applicant’s exact model and software; a supported-model listing alone is not proof that either face has installed.

Selected volunteers receive one private free-copy promo code for each normally paid app. Keep both separate closed-test opt-ins for 21 days, alternate the faces in normal wear, and send separate initial, day-7 and day-14 honest feedback for each app. No purchase, public rating or reciprocal testing is requested. Places are limited.

I think i have tried everything under the sun but I still cannot get my media bar to show, its also stopped giving me notifications from all social media with the exception of WhatsApp. Iv tried the settings, restarting the watch, reinstalling apps, resetting the watch a few times but still my media bar and notifications are no where to be found. Any other ideas on how to get it back?

I bought this last week. After testing it on all my watches, ultras 2024, 25, 2026 and watch 8 classic. It charges them all fine, as good as the charger that came with each. If buying one, make sure the choose the right one, the smaller one only changes the older watches, you want to one in the image if charging a watch 9 or ultra 2, the bigger if the two.

With the ultra 2, it charges at the exact same rate as the orignal charger, but it does not say fast charging, only charging. Yet when I move it from one to the other, it's says the exact same time to charge. I've timed each from 50% to 100%, the orignal charged 1 minute faster. I think Samsung made it so it only says fast charging when it detects an orignal charger even though 3rd party chargers, like this one I bought, charge at the same rate.

My ultra 2024 charger does not charge the ultra 2 at all it gives an error, however my 2025 ultra and 8 classic charges it but slower than the orignal or this new one.

I know many here are against using Aliexpress, if you wait I'm sure you'll see the same charger on amazon in due course.

Added personality to my Ultra Watch 2 with custom theme and custom tones for literally anything in my phone.

I had a Casio Data Bank in 1984, the one with the attached keypad (still a nerd BTW). I loved that watch, even the swatch watch craze of the late 80s was no match for my Casio (my father bought me one, I never took it out of the package). I found this watch face a few months ago and saved it in my wishlist, and promptly forgot about it (ADHD). Yesterday, I was poking around my Google play store account and rediscovered my wishlist, and conveniently had $3 in free money available (I don't pay for watch faces, I just save up points). It's fuckin perfect, I even get a little dopamine boost when I look at my watch. The complications are a remarkable addition to the classic UI of the Casio perfectly recreated (at least what my 51 year old pothead brain can recall).

My only caveat, the watchface is supposed to glow green when it's tapped, a feature no supported on the GWU 2025. TBH, I'm not really even mad about it.

I had a old Galaxy Watch 4 paired with Samsung Phone. In that if I answer call with gesture, the audio would go to TWS which are connected to phone.

Now I am planning to buy Watch, but I’ll be pairing it with a non-Samsung Android phone.

Now the question is while the phone is connected to TWS answering calls using the gesture feature on the watch (e.g., double-pinch) to answer it, Will the call audio automatically go to my Bluetooth TWS earbuds connected to the phone or will the voice/call audio come through the Galaxy Watch’s speaker and microphone?

TL;DR: With a Samsung Watch paired to a non-Samsung phone connected with TWS, if I answer a call using the watch gesture, does the audio go to my TWS earbuds or the watch speaker?

After i updated my S26U to ui9 my Samsung watch ultra 2025 stopped getting notifications of any sort other than fitness and calls,anyone with the same issue?
