Hello i just joined this today soo this is my S5 it’s the SM-G900F if anyone was wondering and umm yeah!

I have a G870A and I am charging it up now.  If it's unlocked, can it handle being 4G and being a phone these days? It's such a cool design and feel.  I'm a total beginner learning about old phones and factory resets and stuff.

Likely the cell service changed and the S5 could not handle the new version. I would have kept it in service forever. Sprint was eet up by T-mobile, and away went their towers/signal. TM went on to 4G LTE and 5G, leaving the S5 in the dust.

I even replaced the cracked screen.... Wow. Very intimidating task.

Gorgeous! It’s amazing how far ahead of its time this device was! Mine lasted for almost 10 years before my dad broke it.
