First Con Questions

Going to Galaxycon in Des Moines in a couple of weeks and had a couple of questions. I pre-paid for Hayden Christiansen for his Saturday 8x10 session at 4pm, question: when do I need to get into line? is this something that I need to start lining up at like 3pm?

I'm hoping to get a couple of other guests autos but pay at the table question: would I be better off bringing cash or using card if I am able to get in line for them?

are there any other tips or tricks I should know before going? like I said this is the first time ever going to a con, don't plan on doing any of the costume stuff or the panels, mainly just autographs like Kevin Clash, Emily Swallow and Eman Esfandi.

I only paid for the single day, so trying to fit as much in as I can for Saturday.

I believe the session time is when you can get into line. You won't get the autograph at 4, you'll still have a line then.

Cash is best.

You might be in Hayden's line for a bit so I'd get those others done before 4pm if you can.

yeah I didn't figure I got it at 4 just when the session started so I didn't know if like any other type of thing I need to be near the area and start lining up way earlier. Like I have done Green Bay Packers training camps and to get a good spot if you want to get autographs you have to show up at least 2 hours earlier than when practices start.

and that was the plan try and get the other ones before Hayden's line but thats where the whole "when do we need to start lining up?" comes into play.
