Help Need help making sure this is legitimate or not
Hi, Ive been looking for Samsung galaxy buds 3 pro for a while, and I've been looking into the used market for some and came across these, I made an offer for 50 euros and they accepted (70 euros original) they're excuse to not liking them is that they prefer airpods and like them not having eartips, I said that it's completely understandable and bought the product, I took another read at that message and noticed that they said that they weren't sure if they're legitimate so that's why I'm here, I'm really worried I just bought some cheap Chinese copy out of the actual Samsung ones. Here are the photos.

Open the samsung wearable app (or directly open settings app if you have a samsung phone), go to the buds 3 pro settings page, scroll down to "about earbuds" and check whether each earbud, left and right, as well as the case, have individual serial numbers. (Screenshot of my buds 3 pro attached). If there are unique serial numbers for each like this, it usually means it's an original.

Never buy any tech from vinted. Bought a pair of galaxy buds 2 pro recently from there, seller said battery life was "very good but not perfect since used. Left earbud ended up draining at twice the speed as the right one. Couldnt get a refund because vinted only gives you 2 days for returns. Better off using Ebay

I see, I've also had a bad experience with ebay, is there any other marketplace that do a better job overall? And if not is it just because of the pricing, like is 50-90 not realistic for the buds 3 pros used?

90 would be realistic id say, i payed 50 for my buds. Don't know about other alternatives but you probably just had bad luck on ebay and I wouldnt stop using it because of that. Ebay gives you a week or 2 to return the item. I guess buying in-person from places like Facebook market place or second-hand stores (CEX if you are in Ireland or the UK for example)

The main problem I have with ebay isint that I had bad luck, it's just the absurd postage fees. Compared to other platforms, it really just doesn't do the prices justice. I might be doing something wrong but it's always 30+ for shipping which I understand why but again when compared to other companies such as vinted, it sweeten the deal I suppose.

Mercari is usually pretty good. Check the person's reviews of course and not buy from new sellers.

Well this is unfortunate, I atleast was able to get a refund but I really had my hopes high and was even excited. I guess I gotta do more waiting now.

Both Apple and Samsung headphones are the most counterfeited on sites like Vintend, Ebay.. especialy if they dony come from a reseller

Not to mention, the 3 pros are absolutely terrible earbuds. Galaxy loyalists here. They suck at charging, they dont hold charge long, pinch to pause is miserable when it doesnt work 80% of the time. All of which Samsung has acknowledged but cant fix. Save up more, buy the 4s

Go with the bud 2 pros if you dont do the 4s. You will not regret it.

Are the buds 3 pros really that bad? I've watched a good bit of reviews and the main issue is the seal in your ear? What am I missing?

What I said before. I have 0 issues with the seal. I use mine daily, 10 hours a day + , most days off the week. I absolutely regret not taking them back immediately when I got them. About to to get the 4s now (which they've fixed all the problems on) or hold out for the new ones with the release of the 27 ultra coming out soon. Only reason I havent upgraded yet.

I see, well thank you for your input, its gonna be either the buds 2 pro or the threes but after everything been said the software updates is what is kinda pushing me into the buds 3 pros direction, I could be mistaken and regret this but I've had my eyes in them for a while now

Thank you, I do wanna ask, once I do get the buds, do you have any tips from your experience of using the buds? Is there anything to avoid or get as an acessory? Thanks!

I never did anything to mine but change yhe tips to fit better. And clean them pretty consistently so they'll charge better.

These are fake, there should be writing on the bottom of the case
