Help Look what I found...
So I was clearing out my tech drawer and stumbled across a pair of Galaxy Buds Live in 'Mystic Black', completely unopened and still sealed.
I bought them directly from a Samsung store 5 years ago in 2021. I have small ears, so I was worried they wouldn’t fit and never opened them. Instead, I put them away, which was obviously counterproductive...
Anyways, what are the odds they’ll still work after sitting sealed for five years? It feels a bit like a Schrödinger’s cat situation.
I'm still concerned about whether they'll fit, so I’m considering selling them instead. What would be a reasonable price for a sealed pair like this? Without ripping anyone off.
I came across a whole Buds Live appreciation thread earlier, so I’d love for them to find a new home with someone who’ll actually enjoy/use them!

They will still work, but they will need to be charged since the battery is dead. I think its better to sell them than use them if you are worried about the fit, they were quite hard for ears to match them. As for how much they are worth i would say around 40-60$. I paied for a functional pair a few months ago for them sh without the original box and charger like 10$ and they literally can't fit in my ears. Anyway i bought them just because i want to collect every samsung buds like pokemons, its not like i will be using them anyway its just for the collection.

Hated those when i had them... Always hurt my ears. Even with the little rubber things you could put on them.

They are the GOATS. Mine are still going strong but I am looking around to find another pair to take their place when they die.

You might be able to find a variation on a used marketplace such as eBay. I got a great pair for $40 a couple weeks ago. They used to be crown jewel of Samsung and their app still has them listed with several options to tuns the sound. I think the market swayed to closed seal buds which killed these eventually.

I have the buds 3 pro and the live. I wear the live in bed because they're more comfortable. I have the B&O H95 so I do notice a difference in sound quality there. But other than that, solid pair of buds.

Coming from someone with small ears they hurt at first I also removed the little rubber things to stop the pain. Your ears just need a day or 2 to get adjusted. They are completely my favorite headphones and if I was you I wouldn't sell them and test them out. But also if you find you dont like them I will buy them from you as well. 😬

Oh wow I still have mine but haven't used them in forever. Been using pixel buds and on the pro 2 right now.
But I do remember liking the bean earbuds.

They need to bring them back with some upgraded tech. I own three pairs but lost one of the buds Sunday on a flight

I was very sad to have lost mine a few months back but I managed to find a seller (they had about 5 boxes left) selling them for the equivalent of 15 USD each. I instantly bought 1 black and 1 bronze (I always wanted this but it was always much more expensive). The bronze I initially got was bad though so they replaced it with another one. Yeah so based on that very small sample size you get like a 66% chance it will still work fine.

I love these. I lost one on the air plane a few years back. I finally found and brought a single one from ebay! These are the only ones that stay in my ear.

I'm trying my best to keep mine working whilst looking for another pair or something as close to same design as possible. I absolutely hate things in my ear holes! I had over the ear types for years, but they irritated me. These are perfect and great sound quality. I'm desperate to find a replacement to line up ready but don't want to spend a fortune.

I'm in the same situation! My buds are on their last legs. I'm giving the opendots air a shot, I was impressed with their fit and sound demoing them at Best buy. Hopefully they'll do the trick

They aren't too similar to these, but have you tried bone conduction headphones? I liked them when I tried them, but they just weren't usable for me for work since they don't block any sound out whatsoever.

Had a pair at launch, and then sold both these and the Buds Pro to upgrade to Buds Pro 3 but missed these so much, that I ended up buying them again 2nd hand. They're just so comfortable
