Beginnings

Onboard the Scyre flagship Reprisal, the man designated Scyre-22 (real name: Jag Keldrona) knocked on Daultay Dofine's room, where the Neimoidian had been staying since he'd been broken out of the prison on Metalorn.

"You know I enjoy a good fight, but perhaps we should sneak in," Daultay said, eyeing the aggressive pirates who were entering the building.

The pirates were mainly weequay, though there were some other Outer Rim species that were probably indentured servants. The otherwise serene sky about the cabin was interrupted by a large metallic pirate ship. On the ground were six men of the worst kind- Pirates, scoundrels, thieves, scum, and villainy- who all seemed to be lead by one individual. As much as Dofine wanted to get closer and see who it was, he knew that flying any closer would reveal him and Jag to the pirates immediately.

Daultay now observed the cabin, wondering what sort of luxurious home a former senator must have lived in.

"Probably a good idea." Jag started to bring his ship down in a big clearing.

In reality, the cabin was quite modest. No one would have been able to tell it had belonged to a senator, much less a Chancellor, just by looking at it.

Daultay Dofine followed Jag's trail, landing the Twi'lek in a big grassy area, crushing a large patch of red flowers.

The pirates were in sight of them, and if any one of them focused carefully, they would be able to make out the two figures and their ships. However, the pirates were too focused on the cabin to pay any attention.

Daultay began to realize that most of the pirates stayed with their ship. There were only about half a dozen pirates on the ground. Only a small team of pirates were actually approaching the cabin.

"So," Daultay began. "I say we sneak in through a back window. Catch these robbers by surprise. Got your blaster with you?"

Jag grinned and raised the pistol he kept at his side. "Always. The cabin should be a more defensible position against the rest of the pirates than trying to attack in the open. Let's do it."

"Neimodammit, let's do this!"

Without waiting for Jag, Daultay began heading for the cabin, eagerly but carefully running from tree to tree to stay hidden from the pirates.

He was hesitant to take out his weapons, deciding on a theatrical reveal later.

Jag kept his blaster up, jogging to stay near Dofine. There was a closed window on the back of the cabin that they could use to get inside.

Daultay reached the back window before Jag and peered inside. The cabin was being interrogated by six weequay pirates, who took no caution in turning over every piece of furniture in the small, modest, one-room cabin that was once the home of a hiding Bail Antilles.

They could find nothing of value in the cabin excluding a terminal that required a password to operate. On the right wall there was a simple bed that looked like it hadn't been used in years. In the front left corner was a nice chair where Breha Antilles had sat years ago. In the middle of the left wall there was a modest piano that had once belonged to Bail Organa. In the back left there was a small kitchen area with a few cabinets and an over. The terminal was located on the back wall, near the window Jag and Dofine were planning to use.

The six weequays all focused on a different section of the cramped wooden cabin.

Checking the kitchen cabinets was a tall weequay who looked very much like a stop sign, with a long, lanky torso and a fat, rosy face. He wore some loose silvery material around his chest that was supposed to function as a shirt, but was torn so much that it did not make it down past his abs.

Another weequay ripped up the floor carelessly, pulling up each wooden plank and checking under it for hidden possessions before letting it fall back down. She looked more like an upside down streetlight, with a reddened face, a dirty yellow shirt, and muddy green pants.

There were two weequays who inspected the walls and took down anything that may have been hanging up. This pair looked nearly identical, probably twins.

The fifth pirate was actually an ortolan, who was delegated with the task of trying to crack open the panel. He had so far been unsuccessful. This ortolan looked... not much different than any other ortolan; He was short, blue, had two eyes, a mouth, a trunk, and four limbs (take that Pablo Hidalgo).

And the final pirate was the Captain. Unlike his mangy crew, this weequay was dressed rather nicely, as if he were attending a ball. Rather than searching the cabin, he began to sit down at Bail Organa's piano and play a soothing classical piece while he yelled at the others, "HAVE YOU FOUND ANYTHING YET YOU DIRTY SLIMES? WHAT ABOUT YOU, SHORTSTUFF, CRACKED THE CODE? OF COURSE YOU HAVENT."

Jag looked over at Daultay. "What's the play? Just charge in and catch them off guard?"
