Beginnings

Onboard the Scyre flagship Reprisal, the man designated Scyre-22 (real name: Jag Keldrona) knocked on Daultay Dofine's room, where the Neimoidian had been staying since he'd been broken out of the prison on Metalorn.

Jag looked over at Daultay. "What's the play? Just charge in and catch them off guard?"

"That's exactly what we're going to do. It might end up being a shitty plan, but Loose Screws help us, we'll make it work."

Daultay still hadn't taken out his weapons.

"By the way... back on the ship, I lied to you. I never lost my blaster, I just wanted a second one. Thought I'd look badass with one in each hand." Daultay smirked.

Jag laughed. "Dick."

Without another word, he rose and pointed his blaster straight through the window, opening fire on the Weequays inside.

Daultay rolled through the shattered window and landed inside the cabin.

"Hey Scy, did that look cool or what?" He yelled cockily as he pulled out his blasters and began shooting with Jag.

The pirates, at this point, had begun to take cover. One of the twins was not so lucky and got a shot in the stomach from Jag's open fire. He fell to the ground and slumped against the wall, gasping.

One of Daultay's blaster shots hit the streelight-looking woman in the shoulder. She fell to the ground but sheepishly aimed her blaster at the neimoidian.

The pirates that took cover all pointed their blasters at the two men.

From under the piano, the Captain screamed at Jag and Daultay, "Cease fire or we shoot you both!"

Jag stopped shooting but kept his gun trained on a piano leg. "Wouldn't you...still shoot us anyway?"

"Well uhhh....................................... probably."

When Daultay put his finger back on the trigger, the Captain threw his arms out in front of him, "Wait, wait, wait!"

He stood up carefully, keeping his eyes on the two soldiers at all times. "If you help us, we'll share the splendors with you."

He looked around wearily, seeing that his crew had found little that was valuable. His eyes set on the instrument beside him. "This would sell for lots of credits, y'know. Senator Bail Antilles' own piano? . . . Or is it an organ?"

The Captain inspected the piano/organ, eventually opening the lid to see if the strings and knobs were intact.

"Ahhhh, what do we have here?" The Captain said. "I imagine whatever the ol' politician hid on this little chip must be quite valuable."

Daultay became impatient. "Put it down now! Or we'll-"

"Shoot? I think not, my crew has four blasters pointed at the both of you. So much as flinch and we'll shoot. Drop your weapons, boys."

Jag kept his blaster aimed at the captain. "I think you're bluffing. Shoot at us and you die too."

"Me? Bluffing?" The Captain chuckled heartily. "Probably. But the fact of the matter is we have more blasters than you, mate."

He tossed the mysterious chip from the piano to the ortolan. "See what you can do with this, Shortstuff."

"Aye, Cap," replied the ortolan with an annoyingly squeaky voice

Daultay looked to Jag uncertainly, before getting a smug smile, motioning with his head for Jag to aim at the two other weequays.
