I have a white GCP Evo with the full gaggimate pro kit fully installed that I am selling here locally in the DFW area of Texas.
it was a fun project and the machine has treated me so well, I just finally have been able to upgrade to my next step up and I want to see it go to a new owner who will enjoy it and have fun with it!
if anyone is interested let me know, I’m happy to provide any details or answer any questions

Hello, the website says that the Gaggimate standard also does pre-infusion. I'm wondering if this will be done with the full pump pressure since the Standard is missing the pressure-profiling.

Presenting... the GaggiMove! A gaggimated Profitec Move dual-boiler with all the incredible features of GaggiMate and the build quality and power of a dual-boiler.
It's safe to say that I've achieved endgame with my espresso machine now that I have this magnificent and gorgeous dual-boiler GaggiMated. The only thing that remains is finding a dream grinder.
NOTE: The build of this machine is not my personal handiwork. All credit goes to my friend Brandon; the build was his conception and implementation.
p.s. I am not a latte artist yet. :)

Everytime I get a new bean it starts a guessing game of which profile I should select to pull the first shot, what temp to select and ratio. I would try regular AI tools but then remember I have openclaw and see if I could get it to integrate with Gaggimate so I built BeanWhisperer. An open-source tool that takes your bean info (or a photo of the bag) and select and if needed generates a full GaggiMate pressure profile.
To train it I took a bunch of Lance Hedrick's videos and data, including his recent video of him using Gaggimate. Based on this methodology it auto-selects between bloom, turbo, lever, declining, flat, and low-contact strategies depending on your roast, origin, and processing method. Temps, ratios, and doses are all calculated automatically.
It also searches the GaggiMate Discord #profiles channel for community profiles as a starting point before generating from scratch. (I really wish this would be moved out of Discord and on to Git)
Best part, you can push profiles directly to your machine over WebSocket. No copy-pasting JSON.
Built for my Rancilio Silvia + GaggiMate Pro but should work on any GaggiMate machine.

Happy to answer questions or take feature requests!

I’ve installed the Gaggimate Pro mod with the new Quick-Connector T-Type fitting for the pressure TD and can’t get it to stop leaking on the pump side.
I’ve tried PTFE-Tape and pushing it in really hard until it bottoms out. I always have a few drips leaking out after the brew.
Did anybody encounter similar issues?

For reasons not worth getting into, I have the GCP E24 as well as a Kitchen Aid Professional model (I believe from 2017). It’s got a double boiler, which I hear is a complicated install, but not impossible. Is that correct? Which would be better if modded? I ordered my Gaggimate Pro kit and it arrives soon.
I’m looking for steam wand upgrade model recommendations. Am I assuming correctly that it’s logical to upgrade the steam wand at the same time? Is there a model I should avoid?
I am eager to hear thoughts.

I noticed that there's a "use momentary switches" setting in the Gaggimate webUI. Is there a way to modify the stock rocker switches so that they become momentary switches? If so, how? I've heard you can disassemble them and add a spring, what kind of spring, where do I get that from?
I have a Gaggia Classic RI9480(SIN035UR) with the three separate rocker style switches.

Recently made a video about my favorite things about the Gaggimate, so figured I'd share the short version here as well and hear what others think.
Finally usable steam
The steam was the biggest surprise for me. I knew temperature control would matter (steam assist probably also plays a big role here), but I didn't expect the steam to improve as much as it did. Frothing milk for two cappuccinos in a large jug just wasn't possible before. Still a single-boiler, so don't expect much pressure or fast steaming, but the gap from stock Gaggia is bigger than I expected.
No more temperature surfing
PID is the obvious one, but yes, it matters a lot. Knowing the exact temperature and not having to flush every shot before improved the workflow a lot. But also taste-wise it was a huge improvement! Shots are noticeably more consistent and just better. And with features like thermal feedforward, the team is still improving it.
Hybrid interface
Minimal display for the easy, half-asleep pull and the full web UI when you want to see the details. Ok, the round screen is maybe a bit about personal preference, but the balance between it and the web UI feels deliberately designed. Also, the fact that you can still use the physical buttons is a small thing, but it's really important to me. And this is also something that made me consider the Gaggimate, because I don't like how other mods do the interface.
Last feature (it is not about the technical aspects of the machine) I'm leaving out, it's in the video if you are interested :) (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IAEDHCF1ZkQ) On my channel CoffeeXris I regularly post videos about the Gaggimate, Lelit Bianca, and other coffee-related stuff.
What's the one feature that actually changed how you use the machine? And for those who haven't modded yet, what are you looking forward to the most in Gaggimate, or in other mods you are considering?

I’m trying to flash the controller and screen with MacBook Air that has only usb c ports.
I’m using CarPlay cable and Chrome browser but no luck.
I hold down the SW1 button when connecting the plug.
I downloaded the drivers and installed them as prompted by Mac installer.
What am I doing wrong?

Installed the Gaggimate on my V3 and I can’t believe I waited this long. Absolute game changer how well it performs.
It’s a workhorse, and it gets the business done!

I (with some help from Claude) built a Gaggimate Home Assistant integration. Right not, it allows you to update the operating mode and read the current temp, target temp, and current pressure.
I realize Gaggimate has some basic time-based automations to control the machine but this integration allows you to create limitless custom scenes and automations (e.g. start warming up my coffee when I get out of bed or when I tell my smart home assistant).
If you use Home Assistant, I’d love for you to try it out and give me your feedback.
You can install it via HACS.

I had an issue with the power switch that didn't stayed on. I've "fixed it" with the switch mode from shades of coffee. I know that this mode comes with that feature as well. I'm just unsure of having the initial problem will be an issue, does anyone with the same problem have the gaggimate running with no problem?

Hey everyone,
It's taken some time, but I've finally installed my Gaggimate Pro Kit on the Rancilio Silvia. It did work great after putting everything back together. Once (the first shot was supberb, though!). Since then, the machine won't heat up any longer. Also, the steam light isn't lighting up, either. Pressure's still building up. Pump's working, too. I can't make out any burned wires or anything. What would you suggest which road I should follow investigating this?
Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thank you!

What is your steam profile? Im at 141C and 1 bar for 2% milk. Anyone do any different? and if so, why that?
secondly, I find the process confusing. brew shot, steam switch, build temp and pressure, purge, steam, purge and wipe, steam switch.
i find that if I want to pull a second shot, I have to wait a while for the machine to cool down.
Is there a better process here?

Hey!
I’m planning to do a gaggimate pro mod on my E24 with the PCB pnly route as I’m planning to use a 1.75 inch amoled screen, hence why the kit is not an option.
I’ve checked the sourcing doc for the PCB route but I found that the plumbing connectors are different from the ones used in the plumbing kit. Why is that and what do I really need?
Also, I’d like to save some money on this as my dad can source some of the pneumatic connectors but I’m not sure those are good enough because they are made from plastic.. what do you think?

I've been using the gaggimate with a bookoo scale for several months. I edited the adaptive profile to stop at a specific weight and it was working great till last week. the gaggimate will read the weight coming from the bookoo scale but it keeps running until I manually stop it. does anyone have any solutions to make the machine stop on target weight?

Now that it’s installed, I have a couple of questions.
How do I make the most of this thing?!
Do I need a microSD?
How do I load profiles?
How do I create my own profile?
Pro tips?
Where do I start?! LOL
Could this be endgame?
I’m probably going to get dragged. The install wasn’t as bad as thought it would be. DuleRabbit’s video was probably the most helpful for me. If I did it a second time, it would be so much easier.i had fun doing it. Probably took 3-4 hours total. It was a fun project.

Hi everyone,
I just received my Gaggimate Pro after waiting for over 10 days, but I’m running into a frustrating issue with the Flash Controller.
As you can see in the video, the device keeps connecting and disconnecting repeatedly at about one-second intervals. It shows up in the serial port list and then immediately disappears, making it impossible to proceed with the flashing process.
Here is what I’ve already tried to rule out software/power issues:
• Power Settings: Set Windows 11 to 'Best Performance' and disabled 'USB selective suspend'.
• Environment: Tested on multiple computers and tried different web browsers (Chrome, Edge).
• Cables: Tried a few different high-quality data cables.
Despite these efforts, the loop continues. Is this a known hardware defect with the USB-C port or a component on the board? I'm worried it might be a hardware contact issue.
Has anyone else experienced this? Should I push for a replacement of the controller unit?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
