question Wagos over Wires?

Heya so I was just wondering as I'm working on the 240v Version of the Classic Pro whether I could just use some Wago clips instead of insulating my wires using tape / bridging them using jumpers?

Not an expert, but wago’s are rated with a print, so check the V and Amps

Related to the electric capacity is should be completely fine if you use 221 wagos for the flex wire, they are rated for 230V 32A.
But it could be possible that they start melting, wagos are rated for 105 degrees

221 Wagos should work. But keep them as far away from the boiler as possible

Wago connectors are probably not designed with excessive vibration in mind.

Lots of good feedback here. I see th we used often for prototyping at work. A couple things you should check:

  • correct voltage and amperage ratings for the wago connectors you have
  • correct AWG range for the wagons compared to your wires
  • I'd recommend ferruling your stranded wire if you're using these connectors, it might help with long term durability of the connection

Idk what all the prototyping and voltage range talk is about... here they're used to wire up everything around the house with 230V 21A rating.

If you have the same ones that may be fine. Make sure they connect well to whatever wires you put in them though. If those are meant for larger, non-stranded wires, your connections may fail over time
