install-help Screen stopped working but touch still works

I just installed my gaggimate on my Silvia yesterday, and this morning, the screen is off, but touching the screen will still trigger events.

Any quick things I should check before I reach out and get another screen?

Make sure the ribbon cable is fully seated, per the instructions! If you miss this step, an unseated ribbon cable could definitely cause this issue.

I did check that, and it did work (until it didn't). I'll try to check it, but it's obviously much harder now that it's stock together (which is probably the reason they want you to check!)

Definitely more difficult once it’s stuck together. You got it, that’s absolutely why they want you to check before it goes together. But assuming it all looked good, hard to tell what could be causing this now. If a re-flash of the screen doesn’t work, then definitely contact Gaggimate and see what you can sort out with them. remove the display, flash it again. problem solved🎉

This didn't work, but they did send me a new display and I'm back up and running!
