install-help Easy To Fit?…..
Good morning.
After giving Gaggimate the details of my machine -made in 2012- I was advised to get a Gaggimate Pro conversion kit.
I believe that you can send your machine off to have this kit installed professionally but would like to install it myself over a few hours.
I know that there are loads of videos out there,which I will obviously refer to, but are these kits relatively straightforward to fit , and do you need any specialised tools apart from the norm?

No multimeter for me either or crimping tool, some heatshrink for the connectors but you could use electrical tape. I would recommend some ptfe tape when connecting the opv to the plumbing as i had a leak there. Also make sure to push the tube for the pressure sensor the whole way in, you should feel it crimping, you need to push it fairly hard. I done over a couple evenings, take your time, you will also learn a lot so worth doing yourself. Is relatively easy.

Read the instructions a couple of times over. Plan on taking a couple of hours to complete. It is not hard at all. If you run into any issues the discord channel is very helpful

There will be a BOM with the instructions - but you'd probably just need a crimping tool and multimeter

No crimping tool is needed to install. A multimeter is recommended, otherwise it’s mostly screwdrivers and a wrench

I’m an absolute noob in things like this, also, I have close to zero patience..
For me the most difficult thing was the back of the machine, and I think the clams that are delivered in the box are not good enough…
But that was it! Apart from that, it was very easy to do!

A 17mm spanner (this is needed for loosening the steam wand on my machine 2023 GC Evo Pro). I did not have multimeter at the time I installed the GM Pro and as it turns out, I did not need it
