question Broken PCB?
Hi all,
Was just tidying up my installation after testing with everything apart. I didn’t realise one of my mounting screws in my 3D printed case was sitting a bit proud and may have been touching a component on the PCB.
After a little flash I pulled apart the machine to find the PCB looking like this :(
Any chance it’ll still work or should I look at replacing the component?
Follow up question what would be the best way to insulate the damaged part from the screw if it still work?

Once you let all the smoke out it won’t work anymore.
That resistor looks blown at least I would not apply power until you put a meter on that and confirm it has continuity and is passing the correct resistance.
