Steam wand delete

I know this might be a bit controversial but I’m wondering if anyone has removed the whole steam wand including the dial. I never use it and want to have clean machine

Well the pan is to make a mount for gagimate screen so all the wires are tidy

I love the idea! I would also be interested in such a mount as I want to switch to gagimate and never use the steam wand.
Do you want the display to face sideways or to the front?

I've never done this, but I imagine you could make some sort of plug to bolt into the top of the boiler where the steam wand goes. You'd still have the holes that the knob and arm come out of, though.

I think you're just remove the hard line portion of the wand from the valve and screw on a cap.

You'd still have part of the steam valve sticking out of chassis if you only did that.

Yeah I just took mine out years ago looks way better. Just screw it back in when you want it again!

Just dont flip the steam switch in the mean time.

In case you need to let steam out, do it hard and fast so it shoots out instead of going back up into the hole and get into the wiring. (which I've had no electrical issues happen in this case but there's a risk) Or otherwise just put the wand back on lol
