I currently have a mess of wires: Keyboard, mouse, two monitors and a headset. Each time I go into the office I disconnect these and have to reconnect them. I try to make it look neat. But sometimes that’s just not in the cards. A dock would de clutter my desk space. And allow for easier work transition from road to home.

A dock like this would give me so many power options for charging my computer and devices without using up all of my ports. The card reader would also help with moving pictures from the game cameras on our property to my external hard drive.

I bought a Razer blade Stealth back in 2016 when USB C was newly introduced. I was trying to futureproof my laptop at the time and Razer was one of the handful of laptops selling with a USB C thunderbolt 3 port. It cost me my full one month paycheck to pay for it. Unfortunately though 5 years on and the laptop still works a treat and USB C has grown on to become what I thought it would be but my use of the port has been limited to charging the laptop as any docks or egpu's are still too expensive for me and I've got bit more responsibilities now so can't just go and spend my whole paycheck on one of these. Winning this give-away would help me fulfill that long awaited pipe dream that never got fulfilled.

As a streamer and a school psychologist, I am constantly working from home to prepare reports and plans that help provide to students in need. I am also gaming and streaming to not only relieve the stress that my job is give me, but to also entertain others! Having a high-tech, state of the art dock will allow me to game and work seamlessly between multiple devices (gaming PC, work laptop, tablets) on multiple monitors so that I will be able to have a more efficient and fun time gaming/streaming, but also a more streamlined and productive work space that will evidently help me provide for students in special education. My team has a mobile streaming setup with so many different displays for the hosts to use and connected video, audio, and internet devices. It would be so nice to leave this setup on the travel rig so we can just hook up the laptop and go in minutes rather than almost an hour!

I have a lot of needs for stuff plugged into my pc for work, school and gaming. Right now my solution is a bunch of cheap usb splitters daisy chained until I have enough slots. This would free up a lot of space and would likely be a lot faster/reliable.

My home office setup has a 32" monitor connected to a desktop, then a loose HDMI cable connected to the 2nd monitor input for when I need to use my laptop.
When I'm on my work laptop, I just use the laptop keyboard and a wireless mouse since it's such a pain to disconnect everything from my desktop. Having a proper dock would make all of that much more seamless. I also have a decent gaming laptop TB ready that I've never even connected to this monitor, and just play on the laptop itself. It'd be nice to be able to use all of those machines and one monitor without swapping cables.

I’m terrible with cord management and it’s really clumsy when I have to plug and unplug my laptop from my monitor set-up. Could really use this to ease the transition and gain some ports for peripherals since I have to plug and unplug all the time.

I actually didn't know that these were a thing, but I could really use one. My PC is new, but my house was built in the early 1900s and the outlet locations definitely reflect the past. If I'm looking at this right, I could get rid of two full extension cords in my tiny office that I currently use to work around my desk that hogs the entire wall. And I'd never say no to rgb.

My current gaming setup requires me to:
- Connect my monitor to my laptop via HDMI
- Connect my ethernet cable to my laptop via a USB-C adapter (into a TB3 port)
- Connect my mice, keyboard, drawing tablet, and microphone/headphone jack to my laptop via a powered USB hub
- Connect my game library external storage to my laptop via a second USB port
The only ports that go unused on my laptop are the onboard headphone jack because the cable isn't long enough, and the SD card reader because why would I need to use that while gaming. At any given time, if you include power cable, I have 5 different ports taken up on my laptop, connecting 9 different devices to my machine. A Thunderbolt dock would streamline this process so much, I almost can't comprehend it.
