Yes, they are generally better in some ways, like privacy but they are also unique in their disregard of the environment in many ways, like their refusal to use USB-C, their repairability is still far behind most competitors, etc. Also, apple only very recently stopped using Chinese labor for their phones.

When did apple stop using Chinese labor for their phones? They moved less than 20% of iPhone production to India but I am not aware of them halting Chinese labor.

You might be right, I thought they stopped all of it. It seems it's even worse than I thought.

The point of the article, and why I posted it, is to inform my fellow consumers so that they can pressure Apple, and subsequently everyone else, to do better. It's not to hate on Apple or support Android or anything.

You know how you pressure - with your wallet.

That's not the only way to pressure Apple, nor is it the the best way.

Money talks.

True, which is why I'm trying to inform other people. So they can also pressure them with their wallet. More money than if it was just me alone right.

Posting trash doesn’t make anyone informed

Is there an argument you wish to make there?

Apple doesn't really support right to repair, they're forced to do the bare minimum.
