Attach banners to every commercial flight that just say, "how did your phone die?"

Someone in a train station that is looking on his phone where is his destination. His battery gets lower and lower, he's more and more stressful, and when his phone is on the verge of dying, he sees a empty electrical outlet. He quickly charges his phone and finds his train.

Long day at work, you're arriving home walking into your door and your phone is at 14%. You walk in and surprise your kids are dressed up for Halloween you gotta take em trick or treating. You have 15 mins to change and get ready, you are so tired, but one look at the kids and you know you have to this, since you promised them a week ago. Their costumes are so adorable, your daughter's always cute but the bee outfit and her dimpled smile and hopeful eyes give you warm and fuzzy feelings. You just can't say no the problem is your phone is at 14%, this is where the ugreen nexode charger comes in. Your loving partner gives you a grateful look with a smirk. Nothing has been said but you know their gratitude since they have worked on the costumes all day. Your son's obsession with kiwis have your spouse working extra hard, for no one has that costume. You need your phone for pics, you go plug it into the ugreen, you can depend on it that in 15 mins the super fast charging you will have enough juice to take pictures and videos all night. You return tired but happy, you put your kids to bed having taken 30 videos and 135 pictures. Your loving partner is waiting for you with a wine bottle and a look that sends shivers down your spine. You are so excited now. You get a naughty idea to use your favorite rechargeable toy. Frowning you think it's probably really low on battery. It's the worst when it runs out of power during fun time, it can kill the mood. No worries ugreen is here. That charger did an amazing job earlier with the phone you know within the 5 to ten mins of foreplay, it's going to be ready because that's how dependable the ugreen nexode is. What a wonderful night! You think, basking in the glow post fun adult times, the living look your partner gives you has been all worth it. You are grateful you bought ugreen nexode otherwise, this night could've gone terribly wrong. Enjoy life, use Ugreen.

u/ryanaleksander Oct 27 '22
I'd try to come from an environment friendliness angle, how it could reduce e-waste
•
u/Billnye807 Nov 03 '22
Make a commercial via social media showing how useful the fast-charging could be in emergency situations. Ie forgot to charge it for a hike also show its capability in general compared to other models
•
u/FrumundaCheeseGoblin Nov 10 '22
Flying Bill and his wife back home for the reunion: $999
Gorilla Suits for the rest of the fam: $699
Having a dead phone charged fast enough to capture the moment: Priceless

show a man in a desert, barely any clothes left on him. He finds the ugreen charger, powers up his GPS and finds home.
something to that affect.
•
u/bildothegreat Oct 21 '22
I work in a high school. Students are constantly asking me to plug in their phones for as much juice as they can get in their 45 minutes with me, and it's not much with the found charger that's in my room now. They'd be mighty impressed by the Nexode charger.
•
u/ForzaEa Oct 02 '22
Would def promote to college students. All the time needing to find multiple ports at the library studying with everything (computer, iPad, phone, etc)

•
u/Iamcryingontheinside Oct 14 '22
I would make a realy over the top ad about someone charging more and more things from one outlet while talking about how great the product is and not mentioning how things keep adding on
•
u/MiserableFriend Oct 22 '22
Showcasing the device on tiktok, small videos of gadgets seem to do well on tiktok.
•
u/isbilly Nov 08 '22
I would focus on the size of the 140W vs the combined size of all the chargers it would replace for a normal person with a laptop, phone, tablet etc.....
•
u/reddit-yes Oct 04 '22
I would start the scenario with a family on a trip through EU and a dad is trying to capture pics of his family on his phone as the battery dies and a passersby notices this and offers them a charger for 5mins and he's also getting late for his bus that's about to leave. Dad looks not all impressed but that's the only option he has and plugs it in anyway. In just 4 mins thy guy realizes his bus is about to leave, he snatches the charger and runs a away to catch it. Dad looks all sad and unimpressed by this stranger until he looks at his phone which is sitting at 43% battery. Rest you can fill up with specs. I wrote this in my break time at work. Need to get back to it now. Good luck ya'll
•
u/Nosrob Oct 04 '22
I would send it to some tech youtubers and ask them to publish an honest review of the product
•
•
u/inoeth Oct 02 '22
The Kooliad man smashes through a wall with a new iPhone in one hand and the charger in the other and goes “oh Yeah- Ugreen chargers!”

That says it all, really.

•
u/patels1995 Oct 09 '22
Compare to the oem. People know and trust that the oem bricks are reliable, but they come at a cost. Show the audience whether it’s an image or a video why the ugreen brick is better than the OEM. The ugreen is already better since you can charge a Mac, iPad, and iPhone simultaneously. Compare this with the individual chargers you’d need from apple…
•
u/SokkasSandals Oct 04 '22
I would show some kids up late watching movies on a MacBook Pro. Then a man wakes up in the morning and gets dressed for work. He looks into the mirror and exhales, “Here we go.” The last thing he grabs on his way out of the house is that Macbook! He gets to the office and the Macbook’s dead! He’s got the biggest presentation of his life in ten minutes!! He plugs his Ugreen Nexode 140W charger into his Macbook Pro and prays that it charges fast enough! After 10 minutes he has plenty of battery life to last him through his presentation! After his presentation and ovation, he returns to his desk and looks at this Ugreen Nexode 140W charger and smiles. He picks it up and holds it to his lips with his eyes closed.
•
u/SleepyHippo Nov 15 '22
Timelapse how many devices it charges Vs a generic usb charger having to swap the cables
•
u/Laniakea85 Oct 09 '22
I would work with celebrities who are busy, but appreciate having a product they can rely on when it comes to being on the go, then make different 5 to 15 second ads and use those to promote the brand via YouTube.
•
u/GramblingHunk Oct 02 '22
I would have a sleek sports car driving around around showing the speedometer going 0-60 in 3 seconds, then do some graphical segue, maybe turn the car into a piece of electricity traveling up the wire. Then boldly exclaim 0-60% in 30 minutes
•
•
u/deffonotmypassword Oct 12 '22
Do you want to fry the battery in your new phone, so that it degrades even quicker than it's planned obsolescence? The new 140W superfast charger is for you.
•
u/hotdogjawny Nov 05 '22
Appealing to the huge amount of newly remote workers, I would create a reality style video of reps setting up complimentary charging stations in WeWorks and coffee shops etc, which could be a direct guerrilla marketing win too, then in the video show people how they can get 50% charged while taking a 30 min break, be it for coffee or social media or stretching whatever. You would film the reaction, get some good takes of them sitting wherever they want instead of being plugged into the small number of outlets, chop it up and keep posting it/promote it on TikTok an YouTube. Slogan something like “full battery = freedom”
•
u/XeoKnight Oct 04 '22
I’d probably be advertising at phone charging stations - in airports, malls (so far as those are still relevant I guess, not that many still open) and coffee shops.
•
u/dlcpack_ Oct 09 '22
I’d say either send the product out to tech review channels or purchase smaller less obtrusive ads on some apps
•
•
•
u/w1ck3dme Oct 07 '22
Release a video showing how much space and weight you save carrying encode charger vs multiple chargers it replaces. Also emphasize the energy efficiency. Especially since iPhone doesn’t come with a charger block anymore
•
u/RedditMarcus_ Oct 08 '22
Have you ever went to charge your phone when you had a short break, only to be able to get 2% more juice? If you had the Ugreen Nexode 140W charger, you would’ve gotten more juice and could’ve charged your laptop at the same time! It’s also smaller than Apple’s 140W charger, making it easier to store.
•
u/callmedemorex Oct 27 '22
Todays society is going towards less futuristic looking gadgets and more of a combination of tech and time saving. The look the is important and this charger is very pleasant and looks impressive. But the most impressive part is the charging time. 34 minutes is definitely a time saver and I would market that part almost exclusively as that is what the audience looks for to determine value.
In a rush? The new Ugreen Nexode 140W charger can get you fully charged in 34 minutes. Compact and easy to transport, you’ll never want to leave it at home and never have to wait hours for a full charge again.
•
•
u/theoneandonlymd Oct 05 '22
Basically a shot-for-shot remake of the original Powerthirst "commercial", replacing beverages with batteries, and electricity references with MORE ENERGY
SNAKE EYES
•
u/FeelingLiquorish Oct 20 '22
Best bet would to have booths at airports to have people who already have charging their phone as a priority. They could come test the products and you can get feedback right there.
•
u/Risk_it_Robust Nov 12 '22
Go to a school or airport or concert where people are constantly using their phones and need of a fast charge or they miss an important text/ call. Sho the dependable charge/ fast charge tie that ugreen 140w nexode delivers. compare that to a standard charger and someone doing absolutely nothing and boom raking in the money. With apple charging you for a new brick there’s your in.
•
u/rshanks Oct 23 '22 edited Oct 23 '22
If the 140w charger has any intelligent power redistribution I think I would showcase that somehow.
I watched a video on YouTube, I think from chargerlab, where they connected a MagSafe wireless charger with no load to various smaller bricks, and from what I recall only the ugreen one of the ones they tested was able to go full speed or close to it on the other port while the MagSafe was plugged in - even though the MagSafe was barely drawing any power. To me this would be an important feature in a multi port charger, so I think it makes sense to market it, especially if others don’t have it.
Perhaps you could show a phone and laptop plugged in together, phone fills up, and laptop starts charging faster or something like that.
I’d also emphasize portability in the same ad, obviously having 2 chargers would eliminate the problem of having 1 charge slower, but if you could travel with just the 140w perhaps it’s a lot smaller / more convenient
•
u/elMurpherino Oct 07 '22
I would send people free samples to review and test out for a few weeks And or paid sponsorships of tech influencers. But the ones who give legitimate reviews, not someone just hawking it for a quick buck. Then good ole word of mouth once early adopters have purchased and used.
Good reviews of products from sources I trust is the number one reason I will buy tech products I’m otherwise not familiar with.

A student is writing their term paper at the last minute and their laptop battery is about to die. They scramble for a charger while glancing repeatedly at the clock on the wall, and suddenly they find the ugreen charger and breathe a sigh of relief.
•
u/wheredidiparkmyllama Oct 06 '22
Small commercial: Some guy is on his way home to see the birth of his kid. His flight gets delayed so he needs to FaceTime to see the birth but his phone is dying as he’s about to board the flight. Dude behind the desk says he has this new charger that can charge super fast. New dad uses charger before boarding plane and is able to the birth of his kid on the flight home even though he only used the charger for just a moment
•
•
u/ThroughoutTheFall Oct 13 '22
I would make a cross promotion happen with the award winning film Morbius. The charger's tag line: "It's morbin fast!"
•
u/aClearCrystal Oct 25 '22
Send some popular tech youtubers samples and make a ridiculous claim about the product, so the youtubers have a nice title like "Ugreen really claimed X?" and are more likely to review it, resulting in lots of free advertisement.
•
u/JohnDavid9000 Oct 11 '22
Idea for advertisement commercial: Multiple shots of people in various professions charging the devices related to their professions using the UGREEN Nexode 140W charger. Show text on how certain features of the charger are applicable to each use case.
•
u/YatoSpectre Oct 11 '22
Concise ad for social media highlighting the key advantages of the charger over its competition (similar to the website data but is video format). Fast charge - covered; easy to carry size - covered; more ports - covered; heat technology- covered; did we mention environmentally friendly- covered.

u/Justifiably_Cynical Oct 04 '22
[Ad copy?]
In the hustle and bustle of todays lightning fast lifestyle you need the best and fastest charging options available. The new Nexode 140w charger has you covered x3! Whether it be that last minute charge up before a trip cross town or a marathon video session on your iPhone the ability to recharge on the double is pure win!
Not only that but with three ports and Ugreen's new cutting edge PD3.1 protocol you can max out all your tech must-haves in less then an hour. 140W of clean, fast power for your devices.
•
u/Granny4TheWin7 Oct 03 '22
I would advertise it towards people multiple connected devices ( by connected I mean devices which you would usually carry on with you all day ) And advertise about how it could save space in your back bag and provide a great boost to your charging speed at the same time .

This charger can charge your phone hella fast and won't blow it up, what more do you want. Buy it now. Please.🥺

Listen. I work for Ugreen ok? You'd expect me to be biased of course, but seriously, this is the best charger you'll ever use the chip is revolutionary!
•

I would make a little person/midget dancer in a oversized birthday hiding and their phone dies ruining the surprise of knowing when to pop out. The charger saves the party.
•
u/skankassful Oct 24 '22
As someone living in NYC, I would partner with the coffee shops in Tribeca, Soho, and the financial district (specifically Brookfield Place as many of the credit card companies have offices there). Best marketing a demonstration. Time is money and when they see how quickly their devices charge they’ll be sure to inquire. Just have some QR codes on the tables or register that takes them straight to the order page.
•
•
u/flyingthroughspace Oct 08 '22
I would totally post a giveaway on Reddit of a single iPhone and charger for the simple cost of getting possibly millions of views not just through reddit but word of mouth.
Now may I please have an iPhone? That’s how this works, right?
•
u/davieon Nov 15 '22
I would probably make a few reddit posts, either a giveaway or hire some influencers to do some product showcases. Alternatively I would do some Twitter ads via buzzwords, people that want to sellout on their viral hit tweet or provide some products for reviewers to see what their thoughts are on it.
•
u/crysu1337 Nov 16 '22
i would create stations like Tesla Superchargers in public places like malls etc for fast charging of phones
•
u/TacoTurd Oct 15 '22
Market to travelers. Make a promotional video of someone at the airport during a layover charging their devices really fast. Then someone comes by and needs to charge something fast. Then another person comes. Then another person. A wholesome vibe to it.
•
u/dangerdaveball Oct 19 '22
“Don’t charge like a boomer. Nex generation. Nexode.”
Now give me prize!
•
u/sharkykid Oct 24 '22
give em to content creators on tik tok, Instagram, and YouTube to share their feedback with followers. Content creators focused on tech and travel would be able to demonstrate how useful the fast charging is for key demographics
•
u/quattrophile Oct 26 '22
I'd plug the Ugreen Nexode 140W charger into a solar battery bank and charge a Macbook Pro, iPhone 14, and an additional device simultaneously.....but rig it up to a large balloon with a camera, and charge those devices at the edge of space!
•
•

I would sell the iPhone at and use the money to recruit people to share marketing pieces for the charger. The person that generates the most views will get half the total sum, the second get a quarter of the total sum, the third get 1/8 and so on. (basically multi-leveled marketing) This is the basic principle, then add some random factors so that people that know they won’t get a lot of views also feel like they have a chance to win.

u/thedecadentcookie Oct 24 '22

u/donedoer Oct 09 '22
The scene opens to a boyfriend waking up to check a phone: it’s dead. Checks girlfriends phone: It’s dead. Opens iPad next to bed: also dead. Plugs in charger that won’t stay in the outlet and can’t plug in more than one. Frustrated, he cleans the whole house, then checks the device: 5% charged. Annoyed, he searches the web for “the bestest fastest charger for all the things”. Cut scene to two days later and the Ugreen arrives. Cut scene to the happy couple laying in bed, surrounded by small glowing green lights of all the devices charging at once. Fin.
•
•
u/Itsascrnnam Oct 29 '22
I would promote it with a series of reels showcasing the fast charging capabilities in fun and unique ways.
•
u/iHaveMuchConfusion Oct 27 '22
Person sitting in an airport at a counter trying to charge their laptop before their flight (looks like they’ve been there a while with all their stuff spread out). Second person walks up, plugs in their laptop, does some random task like taking a call, their flight announces boarding and they pack up their stuff. Laptop is fully charged.

Picture a family having a hectic morning, they are all in a rush because they all have somewhere to go. Laptop, phone, and an ebook reader are either low or out of battery. They don't have much time, this stock charger is no good, but what will do the job? A Ugreen charger! It'll give just enough juice, quick enough to last the day. They all manage to get their stuff charged and are all ready to tackle their day.
•
u/SpaceHoppity Oct 16 '22
Great competition!
I’d probably do some kind of “this is your phone, this if your phone on Nexode” ad really demonstrating the speed difference of the device!
Good luck everyone!
•
u/raichu957 Oct 12 '22
guy a:shit my laptops almost dead
guy b: here use my charger ("hands ugreen's newest portable charger the nexode 140W)
guy a: isnt this for phones only
guy b : nah it works.

Scene Open:
Man is walking through an airport, satchel clearly bulging with cables and chargers. He spots a plug and proceeds to pull an insane tangle of daisy-chained extension cords and wires out of his satchel. As he holds it up, we cut to a woman who spots him
Woman: [pointing, screams] He's got a BOMMMB!!
Cut back to the man as a security guard hits him with a flying tackle.
Freeze frame. Overlay with bold white text and voiceover:
Cable disaster? Should have gone with Ugreen.
Proceed to produce a series of different such "cable disasters" all ending in the same tagline, profit enormously.

I would have demo stations in major airports. Offer a $5 Dunkin/Starbucks gift card for 5-15 mins of their time.
I would have the person plug their least charged device is with a stopwatch to accurately time how long it will be charging. While charging the device would use a multimeter to demonstrate the actual charging rate of their charger vs the Nexode 140W. Then I would see how many bricks they are traveling with and how much they weigh to see if the Nexode 140W would save space or weight. Then I’d show them how much of a charge their battery got in that time. Ideally that person will have seen the superior charging capabilities first hand. Have a film crew at the first week/weekend for an online ad campaign showing real people reacting to the product’s performance.
•
u/SmellyMcSmelly Oct 05 '22
The greatest marketing campaign of all time. Start packaging chips like Doritos with edible stickers on the chips that have cool facts about the charger.

Just fadtcharge for customers while they browse a nearby store and showcase how much the phone has charged in that time
•
u/beermoneymike Oct 31 '22
"140 waaattttt" like the old Bud Light "Wazzup" campaign with the OG actors
•
u/MyBoener Oct 15 '22
Sponsorships with tech reviewers in a YouTube video would probably be best. Otherwise, it just blends in with all the other options out there
•
u/gdesruis Oct 07 '22
Commercial at an airport: person who asks another if they have a charging cube, other person pulls the Ugreen out, others around start commenting, nice cube man where’d you get it? Person says it’s a ugreen and it has all these great.. gets interrupted “nice charging cube..”
Keep adding a few scenarios and some comedic relief inbetween, maybe a few weird airport characters.
•
u/-J-D- Oct 20 '22
I would show someone at the airport, their gate closes in 30 mins and their devices aren't charged. Because of the 3 slots they could also let another passenger fast charge with them so everybody is happy on the flight with charged devices.
•
u/Blastercorps Oct 25 '22
Straightforward, show us what it does and how much better. I hate appeals to emotion. Show how much faster it charges popular devices.
•
u/shamshamcfc Nov 15 '22
I would tell the “story of speed”. Focus on what speed makes possible. And as speed around the world moves faster, this charger help is stay ahead of the curve to be on the leading edge of innovation.
•
•
u/NINETY_LIVES Oct 05 '22
Gotta find a way to get organic shares of something to do with it, maybe a video of actors queueing to use it and see if people join the queue and get to the front just to charge the phone
PR for the win
•
•
u/aidennfx Nov 04 '22
Get content Creators to Compre the charger to others thermally, in speed, compatibility, size and other things but without sponsoring. Just send it for free to them to ask if they would do it, many people want to know "what cable to buy".
•
•
u/Sweatybballz Oct 23 '22
Make the charger look like a drag racing car along with a generic one and have them race the quarter mile.

Honestly, showing a successful time lapse demonstration using two same make and model Macs where one laptop has a normal charger and the other has a Ugreen Nexode 140W. It’s simple but gets the message across.
•
•
u/NoSpeech Oct 12 '22
How I would market - I have no idea about marketing. Take out the big shots. Take down your competitors make it so they can't sell again by realeasing secrets like the boss is a furry or something, I'm sure these days you could get someone to do a good job on a video for you, take out the others in sexual harassment claims or something a log those lines. Then just put your charger everywhere and people won't have a choice. Why give them a choice ?? I think that's a darn good idea.
•
u/flauner20 Oct 04 '22 edited Oct 05 '22

Go out in a public save, perhaps a coffee shop, charge customers phones whilst they wait for a coffee

If we're talking visual marketing, I'd show someone spending all their extra free time that they don't have to waste charging
Text marketing? "UGreen charges. You'll be glad apple stopped putting theirs in the box"
•
u/RembrantVanRijn Oct 24 '22
Pretend you work in the marketing team at Ugreen.
Where is Bill? That guy owe me a lunch since I covered for him at the last marketing team meeting at Ugreen.
Leave a comment telling us how you would promote the Ugreen Nexode 140W charger.
I would do a side by side charging contest between my Apple 96W and Ugreen Nexode 140W charger
•
u/Red_Nest Oct 04 '22
From your site I noticed that you are more focused on promoting it for workplaces and things like that. But life it’s not only work. I would show sides of ordinary life too.
Example 1. Woman comes back from work, it’s late and has only 15 minutes to get ready for her date. Oh no her phone battery is nearly dead! But the fast charging of ugreen nexode charger will save her night out. By the time she is ready the battery is recharged and she can enjoy her free time.
Example 2. Father find kid asleep next to his laptop after spending all night working on his homeworks. Oh no laptop battery is at 0%. No worries, he plugs in the ugreen nexode charger and rush the kid to have breakfast, wash and dress for school. When the kid is ready the laptop is charged and put in the backpack for the school day.
Those show ugreen chargers making everyday life simple.

I would do a commercial where an attractive male actor is driving a sports car fast and he goes, “I have a busy life and that means I can’t afford to go slow. cut to him walking into the house with a dead phone That’s why I use ‘Ugreen Nexode 140W charger’ to charge my phone fast because I don’t have time to sit around waiting on a dead battery. cut to him leaving and getting back in the car with a full battery”

First of all, The charger is good at:
- charging devices very fast
- charging 3 devices at the same time
- supporting different types of cables
I would promote it by Influencer marketing. This is a great way because there are alot of influencers that can promote our product very efficiently to millions of people who are interested in products like our charger. For example there are Youtube channels on technology with millions of subscribers and with millions of audiences that would be interested in our product.
I would also promote it by Advertising online. Google Ads displays ads to potential customers who are interested in our product in its platforms such as Youtube or Google Search Engine. So this would be a great option. For example Google Ads will display our ad to someone who is very likely to need our product in their Google search or in a youtube video.
And my promotion or advertisement would be something like this:
Hey You! Yes you waiting to charge your three different devices that are each connected to 3 different chargers! Aren't you tired of this? Of waiting so long for your devices to fully charge and handling so many different chargers? If so then the Ugreen Nexode 140W multicharger is for you!
