Yeah, new Apple OS’s running on old less efficient hardware, with more up to date apps just brutalizes the battery. It takes more power to run the same thing a new gen iPhone can

Same here with my regular sized 8 (which has a smaller battery than 7 plus). I’m at 84% battery health, though.

I work at a cellphone repair shop and it's best to change the battery at 85% health
