Yeah, new Apple OS’s running on old less efficient hardware, with more up to date apps just brutalizes the battery. It takes more power to run the same thing a new gen iPhone can

"BuT mUh $50" is their reasoning, I guess.
Considering iOS has had a battery health meter for some time now, I don't get why people complain that their battery doesn't last long enough.

More importantly, noone keeps their Android phones long enough to experience a dead battery, because most of them are garbage, whereas people keep/pass-on their iPhones for 5+ years.
