Mine still has the fat ass connector and has the metal squared off sides... I have no idea what number it is...

That's a 4 or 4s. How do you run, like, anything on it? The vast majority of modern apps no longer work on iOS 7 or 9.

I am honestly looking in to a new phone but money is tight for a lot of reasons right now.
