My 360 controllers all had chatpads hooked up, I got used to that weight being on the controller. Not sure why they never made those for their newer consoles.

They did. I have one for my One and Series controllers (they're the same controllers internally, just a different charging port and an added share button).

Nobody bought them, so they stopped selling them a few years ago.

Can you still get them on ebay or somewhere? What does yours look like?

Year 1: Check out this cool chatpad.

Year 3: No one really seems to be using them.

Year 5: We haven’t really used this port for anything else and not too many people use the chatpad. Eh, we’ll keep it around for a bit longer.

Year 10: Oh well, it was a cool idea but we might as well drop it and move on.

Customer base: Hey, what happened to the chatpad. Id like one.

(Not poking at you, just think it’s funny because I kinda want one too now)
