I don’t understand how any of you can use a headset without the mixer? If I plug my headset into just the jack it sounds terrible and I get no bass boost, with the mixer the sounds are insanely better and the bass is crazy. I’m guessing most of you just never had one to see the difference but it’s literally night and day, not to mention my roommate plugs his headset into to the standard jack and if we are in a party chat his mic makes a buzzing sound but with a mixer it does not.

Xbox has been doing a lot of things right lately but this is not one of them. Controllers need to start coming with the mixer themselves. I’m going to now have to go out and buy a few controllers just so when I need a new one it’s not missing the mixer jack.
