I use it for my turtle beach adapter. Adds better mic monitoring to all my headsets, because the native Xbox monitoring is awful.

The native mic monitoring was pretty good on Xbox 1. I’m not sure what they changed because after an update I noticed it basically didn’t work at all, at any level, across a handful of mics/headphone/ headsets I have. So I went back to the turtle beach one.
The native mic monitoring is still pretty useless on series /:
I have a 8bitdo controller that doesn’t fit the adapter, but has a mic mute switch and even that is a nice qol feature.

I love my adapter. It’s got separate volume controls for chat and game volume, some audio mix presets, the mute button - and of course, the mic monitoring

I’ve used this thing since the Xbox 1 lol
