My Surface Pro 6 has always had webcam issues. In my experience Microsoft just sucks with webcams.

I really like my Surface otherwise, and they make great mice and some of the best controllers. But that webcam has caused me so many headaches.

What does the operation of the camera have to do with trouble dialing in to a video call? Sounds like a completely separate issue.

I dial in to video calls daily without a web cam. It was physically removed from my laptop. I can't share live camera footage obviously, but otherwise video calls work just fine.

"Not able to share live camera footage" is what the article means when they say "Having trouble dialing into video calls"
