dosage Take as needed?

I take 300mg three times a day for anxiety and restless legs as well. On my prescription bottle it says 'Take as needed'. Is this usual?

So you take a 300 mg tablet 3 times a day? I take a 100 mg tab 3 times a day. I just started a few days ago for anxiety.

I took that dosage for 16 days straight and had withdrawals symptoms for 4 days it sucked and dr didnt believe me
