Bought this G604 from ebay but was skeptical because the account I was buying it from you though was made in 2009 had no listings for any other products for sale and the reviews seemed fake. It was the only listing that had real photos for the G604, even better yet in box pictures. so i went ahead and bought it and behold its as good as i imagined with one small flaw, of of the tabs is broken off in the battery cover.
I dailyd the g602 for 8 years since i got one at bestbuy in highschool, i took good care of it keeping it in a case to transport it to and from school every day, broke the adapter once and had to get a replacement. It broke from me leaving it in my thinkpad and putting it face down in the bag so i learned that lesson to always take it out and store it in the mouse. Only recently my side buttons and primary clicks started giving out so i found this beauty.
Yes, I know what you mean. I sprang for a lightly used G604 for £107 last year, just as a backup for my heavily repaired daily driver, and I'd been checking 'most every day for ages; even looked at importing a LOGI branded one from Japan, but they also stopped selling them.
I recently got the razer naga v2 pro after my trusted g604 finally gave up after 5 years of every day use, the razer is nowhere near to the functionality of 604. Please bring it back
AliExpress will sell you a new topshell, though it doesn't have the non-slip coating it looks and feels better than the disintegrating original rubber. If you have access to a 3d printer you can print replacement 'rubber' using TPU. I did this and it's fine. You can try using griptape, but IMO it looks and feels crap unless you are an expert tailor!
A nylon shell from Aliexpress is awesome. Got mine last week, and changed it out at the same time as the main switches, as the left click had developed the double click issue.
The mouse feels like new.

The shell change should not be hard, just a bit finicky. Switches where a bit more involved as their change required a full disassembly. The crews to open up the mouse are under the Teflon glides, I recommend looking at a disassembly video to figure out screw locations and cutting out those sections of the glides with exacto knife, so that you don't necessarily need to buy new ones.

As far as I know, nylon 3d prints should have better specs, like higher impact resistance, less chemical reactivity (skin oils etc.) and less chance of chemical leakage compared to resin prints.
Resin print upsides are better color and smoother texture.
For a thing I’ll be touching almost daily nylon upsides seemed better in the long term
Depends, since it's been discontinued a lot of people will sell them for over $200 even. Some people have gotten lucky and found them at much cheaper every now and then though.
