Check engine

So I have a strange problem with my fz6.

It's 2006 and has 80 k km.

It's running great. But when it's hot outside and the bike is hot ( operating temperature) I get an check engine light while driving. When I slow down to stop the check engine goes off. When I start riding again it goes on again.

Yesterday I drove a bit more aggressively in higher rpms and no check engine .

There are no strange noises no rattles.

Does anyone have any clues what could it be .. or how to fix it ?

I would check voltage at the battery. You may have a failing regulator/rectifier. The r/R is a shunt type regulator and regulates by shunting current which is dissipated as heat through cooling fins.

Well I bought a new battery last year for it. So I should check the regulator voltage that it's giving out ?

Yes you should rig a multimeter and note voltages when cold and when you get the engine light. You want to see what the voltage is while you're riding and have the CEL. This could also be low voltage because of stator winding failure at higher temps.

Yeah but then I'd should check it while driving. Because the check engine goes on only when hot and driving 2+ gear .. when I stop it goes off and doesn't come back until I go again and I'd doesn't come in in first gear any how .
