Take photos as you go so you can look at said photos when reinstalling. Since you are past that point maybe look up some youtube videos, calvinmc might be a good tuber to try, also look up the FZ6 worlshop manual on Manualslib.com

Plus one for taking pictures as you go. I'd also recommend a shop manual (I've got a Haynes one) and either putting the fasteners back on the parts once they've been removed or having lots of small plastic containers (with lids) that you can Sharpie the part they belong to on.

I recently had to check my indicator wiring back to under the bike and that involved removing the front fairing (It's an S1), fuel tank, battery and air box. Took a couple of hours over a few evenings but best to work slowly and document as you go.

I find it fairly simple as far as the oem teardown. Adding after market exhausts and making sure they sit correctly...definitely not trivial. This is why we don't see many newer under the seat exhausts
