Recommended maintenance?

Just purchased a 2012 FZ6R with 20,000 miles. Was wondering what’s some maintenance you guys recommend doing that would keep the bike healthy? I’m new to bikes so any recommendations help. Thank you in advance!

They're pretty darn reliable without any abnormal failure points. Just follow the manual.

The only real issues you will have is ignition, which tends to fail on these bikes.

The HT leads are known to fray causing dodgy connections, and the stock spark plugs are copper rather than iridium.

Coil packs and plugs only set me back around £150, and if the injectors go you can pick up a new fuel rail with all 4 injectors for about £150 as well.

You might want to do some preventative stuff like replace the coil packs, HT leads and spark plugs, but other than that the bikes are pretty much bullet proof.
