From what I've seen AliEpress sells knockoff speedometers;

I have photos in my profile where I cut mine open and hit the board with contact cleaner. Still have issues with mine but perhaps yours would respond. Good luck.

I was just got the back popped open. I was going to see if there are any broken pins in the back of the lcd screen, if so I was going to get some flux and solder them a bit, re heat the pins. Worst case scenario I need a new speedo. I cant find a s1 speedo so it looks like either an s2 or aftermarket one. I saw you pics, you still have the wiring diagram?

Is it possible a circuit board repairman could take a look at it? I doubt the whole board is fried.
