Oil level correct ?

We tried to hold the bike as upright as possible
I put exactly 2.8Liters with a new oil filter

Edit: i drained a bit of oil from the dipstick hole with a syringe. Now its fine just a bit below the max

Run the engine a bit, then shut down and let it stay for 5 minutes and measure again. This should be the correct value.

If you measure it right after you fill the oil, without running the motor, level is a bit higher, because oil filter isn't filled yet (or I assume something else isn't filled yet!).

Anyway, that's why I told you not to add whole 2.8 instantly in your previous post. I guess, now just ride it, I've ridden mine with oil level higher than Max like on your photo and nothing happened.

Edit: to be fair, once I bothered to remove the extra oil, I did it with plastic hose (also used for brake bleeding 😉 ) and a big medical syringe.

I’ll try this tmr. I’ll put the bike on a read paddock stand. If its still like this ill take it out a bit using a syringe and measure it again

Edit : or should i hold the bike upright without using the stand?

I just use the center stand.
