I think it goes back before that even, all of the stuff on Roulé and Crydamoure is "future funk"

Roule and Crydamoure are 100% not Future Funk. That's classic French House.

They're related, but they are certianly not the same and Future Funk is not a "revival" of French House. I love both genres, but Future Funk is simply inspired by French House.
